We had the privilege of working closely with General Alan Luga, who guided and oversaw the entire publication process. From start to finish, his dedication and trust made this book possible.

Grateful to be part of telling stories that honor legacy and inspire future generations.

It was a privilege to present the coffee table book “Tight Horizon: The Story of Mayor Francisco E. Lirio” to General Nicolas Torre III during his visit to the Batangas Forum.

This meaningful moment was shared with former Mayor Francisco E. Lirio, Mr. Nelson Terrible, President of Club Balai Isabel, Mr. Waldy Carbonel and Abet Narvaez, Publisher of Creative Partners Publishers.

Students and educators in Tanauan City, Batangas have received a valuable new literary resource with the distribution of Tight Horizon: The Story of Francisco E. Lirio to selected high schools. With the formal approval of the Department of Education Tanauan, led by Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Lourdes T. Bermudez, this donation aims to inspire and educate the younger generation about the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Mayor Francisco E. Lirio.

The following schools received 10 copies each, thanks to the generosity of our donors:

Nanawagan si Batangas Forum President Francisco Lirio na ipagpatuloy ang proposal para sa joint venture ng Meralco at Batangas Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BATELEC).

Ayon kay Lirio, halos limang dekada na ang BATELEC, ngunit hindi pa rin umuunlad ang kanilang serbisyo. Madalas aniyang nawawalan ng kuryente, lalo na sa panahon ng ulan, na nagdudulot ng pagkatigil ng klase sa mga eskwelahan at pagsasara ng mga negosyo. Nagbabala rin siya na nakakasira ito ng mga appliances sa mga tahanan.

Sinabi ni Lirio na maaaring magbigay ng mas maaasahang suplay ng kuryente sa Batangas ang pakikipagtulungan sa Meralco ng Batelec at sa kalaunan ay mapabubuti nito ang ekonomiya ng rehiyon.
