Easter Sunday Celebration 2026
On April 5, 2026, Bacayan Ward Members celebrated Easter Sunday with a very Spiritual Special sacrament Meeting, and a great feast thereafter in remembrance and in Honor to the most remarkable and grandeur triumphant Victory of Mankind, the Resurrection of the Savior Jesus Christ. We are grateful that families and Friends came and worshipped and celebrated with us. Community and Religious leaders also attended. Brgy Bacayan Captain Hon. Jenelyn Leyson, together with our Brothers and Sisters from Brahma Kumaris, Brothers Art and Jun, and Sisters Betty and Zen, celebrated with us and felt the joy of the occasion. They have expressed their sincere love and appreciation and said that they have felt the Spirit all throughout the Celebration.
We sincerely express our utmost appreciation for everyone who made this Easter celebration memorable and for those who have made their sacrifices as well to ensure that this celebration will become one of the most remembered one, in Honor and Glory to the ressurected Savior, Jesus Christ.

Late Upload: Bacayan Ward Youth Community Service Project for Bagyong Tino Victims in Partnership with LDS Charities
The bacayan ward youth has showed their love to the victims of the Bagyong Tino by fulfilling the instructions counseled by King Benjamin in the Book of Mormon, "when ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God".
A tiring experience turned into one spiritual and memorable one as they handed over the repacked food kits donated thru LDS Charities-Humanitarian arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the victims of Typhoon Tino in Brgy Bacayan, one of the most affected barangays in Cebu. The food was repacked at Mabuhay Deseret HQ in Cebu, thanks to their generosity and to the Donors, the LDS Charities.

Bacayan ward Young Women activity
The young women, lead by the ward young women Presidecy, gathered and learned how to take care of their bodies as a Gift from God and as a Sacred Temple. Modesty has also been highlighted, teaching our young women that true beauty is how we regard most our modesty.
We had guests from the stake leaders also imparting their knowledge and experiences pertaining to Modesty and Chastity.

The Philippines Area Priorities introduced last year continue to guide our collective efforts to establish and strengthen the Church in preparation for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
To further strengthen remembrance and application of these inspired priorities, we now introduce the mnemonic CTR as a simple way to recall each focus area:
C — Come unto Christ
T — Temple Covenants
R — Rising Generation
This mnemonic does not replace the Philippines Area Priorities but it reinforces them, helping individuals, families, wards, and stakes remain centered on what matters most as we move forward together in faith.
