Hi! I'm Maricris, a Homeschool mom of 3 kids, a Licensed Professional Teacher and a Board Top Notcher (TOP 1, LET Elementary Level September 2011).
When I started homeschooling my children and teaching them to read, I developed a passion to become a Reading Specialist. I worked hard to learn the different methodologies and approaches to teaching reading and had myself trained on the Orton-Gillingham Approach to teaching reading which is an approach used worldwide in helping children who struggles with Dyslexia succeed in reading.
