‎To strengthen digital literacy among student-scholars, Davao de Oro Scholarship Program- Samahan Ng mga Iskolar Ng Davao de Oro (DDOSP-SID) UMTC chapter initiated a Digital Defense 101: A Webinar on Cyber security Literacy and proper AI Utilization, on March 21, 2026 via Zoom.

‎Moreover, sharing his valuable insights, Mr. Eduardo Catahuran Jr., from the Department of Computing Education (DCE) enriched the discussion with his knowledge about digital literacy and significantly helped strengthen the participants' awareness of cyber security practices, and the responsible usage of Artificial intelligence in today's landscape.

‎Laying out the plans for the remaining academic year ahead, Davao de Oro Scholarship Program- Samahan Ng mga Iskolar Ng Davao de Oro (DDOSP-SID) UMTC chapter conducted its fifth school-based chapter meeting, earlier today at PB San Jose Gymnasium.

‎Moreover, DDOSP-SID UMTC Chapter President, Justine Dave Lastimoso spearheaded the discussion, proposing the plans made by the organization to end this academic year, which includes institutional events and future endeavors of the organization.

‎In an effort to hone their leadership skills, Davao de Oro Scholarship Program-Samahan ng mga Iskolar ng Davao De Oro (DDOSP-SID) UMTC Chapter officers joined the NEXT GEN: Leadership Training and Seminar—a powerful gathering of student leaders ready to level up their impact, skills, and vision on February 28, 2026 at AVR 1 Mabini building.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | DDOSP–SID UMTC Joins Feb-ibig Booth Making Competition

In anticipation of Valentine’s Day, the Davao de Oro Scholarship Program (DDOSP) – UM Tagum College (UMTC) Chapter actively took part in the booth making competition held as part of the Feb-ibig celebration on February 11, 2026, at UM Tagum College.

The event served not only as a creative activity but also as an opportunity for the scholars to collaborate and strengthen their camaraderie. In addition, through the preparation and design of their booth, the participants demonstrated teamwork, creativity, and a strong sense of unity, reflecting the spirit of the organization.

𝗘𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗼𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 | Tucked high above the lowlands, this spot offers a breathtaking escape where nature and calm come together in the most rewarding way.
