Who do we turn to when we feel blue?
Who listens when our hearts are heavy?
Whose shoulder do we lean on when the weight of the world feels too much to bear?

As Donkey once said, only a true friend can be honestly cruel to us—not out of spite, but out of care. They are the ones who tell us the truths we need to hear, even when they are difficult. And despite their flaws, we choose to forgive them, just as they forgive ours, because that is what friendship is all about.

Today is a reminder to appreciate the friends who stayed through every season of our lives, and even those whom time and distance have led us away from. They have all left footprints in our journey and helped shape the people we are today.

A friend is someone who has witnessed every version of us—our triumphs and failures, our laughter and tears. They see beyond the masks we wear, understand the things we struggle to say, and remain by our side when we need them most.

In a world that constantly changes, true friendship remains one of life's greatest gifts.

‎In light of the strong earthquake that occurred on 08 June 2026, all classes will remain suspended on 09 June 2026 to ensure the safety and well-being of the TDCI community.
‎
‎Regular classes, internship activities, and Summer Term Midterm Examinations will resume on 10 June 2026.
‎
Meanwhile, office operations will resume on 09 June 2026 and will be open from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

‎All students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders are advised to take the necessary precautions and stay informed through official announcements.

𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛 | Celebration of Identity and the Pursuit of Equality

Every month of June, people around the world observe Pride Month. A month and time to honor the courage, resilience, and contributions of individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community. It is a celebration of identity and authenticity, but also a reminder of the continuing journey toward equality, dignity, and respect for all. Like a spectrum of colors woven into one banner, the Pride symbolizes the beauty of diversity and the strength found in embracing one’s differences

In our country—the Philippines, conversations on inclusion often lead to the proposed SOGIE Equality Bill, which seeks to protect individuals from discrimination based on their Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Gender Expression (SOGIE). This bill aims to ensure an equal access to opportunities, services, and rights regardless of one’s identity or expression.

As Pride Month invites us to reflect on both progress and challenges, it also encourages beautiful dialogue—one that fosters understanding, empathy, and a society where everyone can live freely and without fear of any discrimination.

May people who is still finding themselves, or even those who afraid to show their real self will find its path to success. Where they continue to champion, respect, celebrate diversity, and uphold the shared belief that people have fought and as they deserve to be seen, heard, and valued.

‎Every year on May 31, the world observes World No To***co Day, a global campaign led by the World Health Organization to raise awareness about the harmful effects of to***co use and exposure to to***co smoke.

‎The observance traces its roots to 1987, when the World Health Assembly passed Resolution WHA40.38, calling for a global no-smoking day. In 1988, Resolution WHA42.19 officially established World No To***co Day, to be celebrated annually on May 31.
‎
‎This day serves as a reminder of the importance of making healthy choices, protecting communities from to***co-related diseases, and promoting a smoke-free future for all.
