Development Dialogues is a podcast hosted by Diwata de Castro-Paredes, launched in May 2026 as a production of the Ambag Network. The series focuses on sharing insights from key figures in the international and local development sectors to discuss social progress and sustainable impact.
Series Highlights/ Host’s Expertise:
Diwata de Castro-Paredes brings over 25 years of experience in the development sector to the show. She has previously served as Senior Communications Specialist and Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA) Advisor for USAID projects on energy, climate change, environmental governance, health, and education. Her previous engagement recently was as Communications Technical Consultant for the World Bank-funded Philippine Digital Infrastructure Project (PDIP). She also served as the Lead Consultant for the first-ever European Union Election Observation Mission in the Philippines directly reporting to the Chief Observer, Marta Temido, Member of the European Parliament and Deputy Chief Observer Manuel Sanchez de Nogues.
Premiere Episode:
The podcast debuted with a one-on-one interview with Mr. Christophe Bahuet, the UNDP Resident Representative in the Philippines.
Mission:
The program is described as a "passion project" aimed at creating a space for meaningful conversation regarding development initiatives and leadership.

The European Union and Philippines are collaborating on a €60 million (approx. ₱3.67 billion) Green Economy Programme (2023–2028) to transition towards a circular economy. This partnership focuses on reducing plastic waste, improving resource efficiency, fostering green investments, and supporting local government units (LGUs) with sustainable waste management solutions.
Learn about the EU- Philippines partnership on circular economy and how from 20 pilot LGUs another 40 LGUs can benefit from this program.
