This Mental Health Awareness Month, we took meaningful steps to build a workplace rooted in care, understanding, and connection 💚

We kicked off the month with “Swipe, Scroll and Support: Parenting Gen Z and Alpha” featuring Dr. Andre Cifra. Participants gained practical tools to help children navigate the digital world while supporting their mental well-being. 🫂

Through our panel discussion on Psychological Safety, featuring Clare Pineda-Gatbonton (Psychological Practitioner), Gabrielle Rodriguez (Clinical Psychologist and Educator), and Marie Felipe (Mental Health Advocate & Chief Officer of the Learning and Development Committee), we opened honest conversations on trust and communication, empowering leaders to create safe spaces while maintaining healthy boundaries.

We also made space for connection and joy. From our Mental Health Week Bingo, bringing teams together through shared laughter to Walk the Talk, an actual walk where participants stepped outside and engaged in open, judgment-free conversations. Because sometimes, support begins with simply listening or being heard. 🌿

Because at Philtech, mental health isn’t just a conversation—it’s a commitment we live every day 🤝

On this day, may we remember that sacrifice is an act of love—for our faith, our families, and our communities. Wishing our Muslim associates and their loved ones a blessed Eid al-Adha.

On the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia, we stand in solidarity with our LGBTQ+ colleagues and communities.

At Philtech, our Associate Resource Groups (ARG) play a vital role in bringing our values to life. Pride is one of our ARGs, dedicated to fostering inclusion and advocacy for members and allies of the LGBTQ+ community.

Our recent Pride General Assembly created a safe and welcoming space where voices were heard, stories were shared, and different perspectives came together. This gathering reflects our commitment to put people first, value different perspectives, and build belonging, ensuring every individual is treated with dignity, respect, and authenticity. As one team, these conversations strengthen our culture and help create a workplace where people can truly thrive.

Philtech hosts CODITE to Discuss the Shaping of the Future of High-Tech Filipino Talents
Philtech and the Council of Deans for Information Technology Education NCR, Inc.(CODITE) - NCR, bring together deans and academic leaders from 30 universities at the Philtech Office for partnership and collaboration. The event highlighted the shared commitment of both organizations to aligning industry expertise with the academe’s vision for innovative, future‑ready education.

The discussions opened new opportunities for student internships, launchpad trainee programs, and long‑term career pathways—fostering high‑tech Filipino talents with AI proficiency. This initiative demonstrates how the Philtech–CODITE strategic partnership directly supports talent development across universities, equipping students with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital workforce.

As we move forward, Philtech remains dedicated to inspiring students, building alliances with educators, and shaping the future through meaningful strategic actions.

This Day of Valor, we honor the courage and sacrifice of the Filipino and American soldiers who defended Bataan during World War II. We honor their legacy as we continue to build with courage and purpose.

As we observe Good Friday, we solemnly remember Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for our sins. From all of us at Philtech, may this day strengthen the faith of our Christian friends and family in anticipation of Jesus Christ’s resurrection.
