Hands-on with KSU's Batch 1. 2026!!

Ipath Hydroponics + Kalinga State University =
Smart Agriculture in action. It was an inspiring session training Batch 1 on the essentials of soilless farming and integrated systems.

Why do we prioritize these partnerships?
Because the academe is the heartbeat of innovation. By sharing our specialized expertise with students today, we are empowering the agricultural leaders of tomorrow. Keep growing, Kalinga State University🤝🤝

Argiya (or Allagiya as they call it here in Kalinga) using hydroponics. Usually, we just harvest this indigenous gem along the pathways of the rice terraces back home, but it turns out it can thrive in water too!

Who else has tried this vegetable?

Waking up after the wrath of supertyphoon Uwan. Two structures, built by skilled hands yet from different worlds of material, share one purpose which is to shelter and endure.

On the left, greenhouses crafted by Manong Paul Chinalpan and my brother Anthony. The one with the tank in front is built for Kalinga State University (KSU) another for the IPATH Foundation. On the right, the house of Apo Agatha, built seventy years ago by her parent before she was born together with the rest of umili who volunteered to help where my Ina was born and grew up. It took a super typhoon like Uwan to strip the iron roof from that old home. Yet the greenhouse, roofed only with plastic, stood tall and untouched.
We hope these greenhouses stand for many years to come, weathering storms as steadfastly as Apo Agatha’s home once did. Any structure, like any spirit, built with a firm foundation and true intention, can withstand even the fiercest storm. May we, too, remain grounded and resilient, no matter what winds may come.

IPATH took part in the 5-day Hand holding Session organized by TESDA, following an invitation extended in recognition of IPATH’s work in hydroponics. Among the delegates from Kalinga Province was Sunshine S. Molintas, a distinguished 2025 GAWAD SAKA National Awardee. It was a meaningful exchange of knowledge and inspiration, and we are truly grateful for the opportunity to learn from TESDA Region 1, 2 ,3 and CAR . IPATH looks forward to formalizing a specialized Hydroponics NC II qualification in collaboration with TESDA.
