A patient went to different drugstores and left confused. Incomplete prescription—no generic and no brand names.

We are often the last stop before patients finally understand what is written in their prescription.

Hindi sapat na sabihin lang na “wala po kami niyan.” As pharmacists and drugstore staff, we have the responsibility to guide our patients especially when prescriptions are incomplete, unclear or not compliant.

Gentle reminder:
✔ Prescriptions should include the generic name.
✔ Only licensed doctors are allowed to prescribe medications.

(We didn't dispense the ointment and advised the patient to have a proper consultation with a doctor.)
