𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐬 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐊𝐀𝐃𝐔𝐍𝐔𝐍𝐆!!

Kadunung Bicol successfully secured awards on the concluded 𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧( 𝐑𝐃&𝐄) 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟑𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐔 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧-𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 (𝐀𝐈𝐇𝐑) 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐞𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐳𝐩𝐢 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲.

Both under Thematic Area 6A: Inclusive Education and Lifelong Learning (IELL), the paper "𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒍𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒒𝒖𝒆 𝑭𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝒊𝒄𝒐𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔, 𝒐𝒇 𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝑻𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒐 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝑨𝒍𝒃𝒂𝒚, 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔” was awarded as the 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐏𝐀𝐏𝐄𝐑 for Research Category which was presented by Mr. Antonino B. Mendoza - KADUNUNG Program Leader.

As for the Development Category, the paper entitled “𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑲𝑨𝑫𝑼𝑵𝑼𝑵𝑮 𝑰𝑬𝑪 𝑻𝒐𝒑𝒊𝒄𝒔 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒑𝑬𝒅 𝑲-𝟏𝟐 𝑪𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒖𝒎” was recognized as the 𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐏𝐀𝐏𝐄𝐑 which was presented by Dr. Alex P. Camaya - one of the KADUNUNG Project Staff.

Another professor from BUTC, Mr. Benyl John A. Arevalo's research on “Synthesis and Characterization of Antigen-Loaded Chitosan Microparticles: A High Loading Biopolymeric Carrier for Oral Vaccine Development in Fish" was also awarded as the 2nd BEST PAPER for Thematic Area 8: Scientific, Technological Innovations and Techno-Entrepreneurship in Industry, Energy, Emerging Technologies for Global Competitiveness.

Another recoginition as 𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐏𝐀𝐏𝐄𝐑 was secured as Prof. Mendoza presented the paper "𝑲𝑨𝑫𝑼𝑵𝑼𝑵𝑮-𝑩𝒊𝒄𝒐𝒍 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎: 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒍𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒒𝒖𝒆 𝑮𝒆𝒎𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝒊𝒄𝒐𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒐𝒏" on July 29, 2023 during the 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 conducted by Visionary Research Association Inc.

Kadunung Bicol proudly congratulates three of the great researchers of Bicol University Tabaco Campus (Prof. Antonino B. Mendoza Jr., Dr. Renan U. Bobiles, and Dr. Plutomeo M. Nieves) who presented their research study during the 15th International Kuroshio Sciences Symposium held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in the College of Marine Sciences National Sun Yat-sen University last March 24-27, 2023.
