The 𝐁𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐊𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬) 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐨 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 warmly greets our Battalion Civil Military Officer 𝗖/𝗠𝗔𝗝 𝗝𝗢𝗛𝗡 𝗙𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗡 𝗚 𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗢𝗕𝗥𝗔 𝟭𝗖𝗟, on this special day.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗞𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀) Tabaco 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖 Unit successfully conducted its 4th Training Day for the 1st Semester, A.Y. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳.

On 𝟭𝟯 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗞𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀) 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖
Unit continued its training program with its fourth training day. At 𝟬𝟳𝟬𝟬𝗛, the cadets assembled at the field for marching and a formation parade, which focused on proper alignment, coordination, discipline, and following commands. These activities helped enhance the cadets’ physical readiness, teamwork, discipline, and ability to execute movements in an organized manner.

At 𝟬𝟵𝟯𝟬𝗛, the cadets proceeded to the gymnasium for a lecture on 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, led by 𝗦𝗴𝘁. 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘇𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗮 The discussion focused on the role of a follower, the importance of effective followership, and the qualities of effective followers. The cadets learned about self-management, commitment to the organization and its purpose, developing competence, focusing efforts for maximum impact, and being courageous, honest, and credible. The lecture emphasized that effective followership plays an important role in supporting leadership, achieving organizational goals, and maintaining teamwork and discipline.

The cadets actively participated in the lecture by listening attentively and engaging in the discussion, allowing them to gain a better understanding of effective followership and the qualities of a good follower. The fourth training day provided another valuable experience in shaping cadets who are not only physically prepared but also responsible, disciplined, and capable of working effectively as part of a team.

Tomorrow, 𝟭𝟯 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆), will be our 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿.

All Cadets and Cadettes are hereby reminded to observe the following:

- Wear the prescribed Type-C uniform properly and completely.
- Maintain proper military bearing, discipline, and decorum at all times.
- Ensure adequate hydration by drinking sufficient water before and during training.
- Consume a proper breakfast prior to reporting for training.
- Be present and ready on campus before 0700H.

Strict observance of the prescribed uniform, punctuality, and proper conduct is expected from all personnel.

Today, we honor 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗹𝗮, a true hero of Albay who bravely fought for our nation’s freedom. His courage, leadership, and devotion to his people remind us of the enduring importance of patriotism and love for country.

The 𝗕𝗨 (𝗞𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀) 𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗢 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 joined in honoring this occasion, keeping alive the spirit of heroism and service exemplified by 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗹𝗮.

As we celebrate 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗹𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝘆, let us remember his sacrifices and continue his legacy of bravery. May his story inspire us to stand strong in the face of challenges and work toward a brighter future for our community.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | The 𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗞𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀) 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 successfully conducted its 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆 for the 1st 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗔.𝗬. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳.

‎On 𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗞𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀) 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 continued its training program with its third training day. At 0700H, the cadets assembled at the field for physical exercises and basic military movements. The session included exercises along with marching and coordinated movements. These activities helped enhance the cadets' physical readiness, discipline, coordination, and ability to follow commands.

‎At 0930H, the cadets proceeded to the gymnasium for a lecture on the 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, led by 𝗖𝗣𝗧 𝗡𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗕. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗮 (𝗥𝗲𝘀) 𝗣𝗔. The discussion highlighted the importance of 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 and its role in a democratic society, particularly the 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀. The cadets were introduced to the different forms of media, including 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 and 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀/𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮, and their important role in informing the public and promoting responsible citizenship.

‎The cadets actively participated throughout the lecture, engaging in the discussion and gaining a deeper understanding of their rights, responsibilities, and the value of freedom in society. The third training day served as another meaningful step in developing not only physically prepared cadets, but also informed, responsible, and disciplined future leaders.

‎On 𝟮𝟯 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗞𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀) 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 officially commenced its second training day. At 0700H, the cadets assembled at the field for their practical instruction in basic military drill and ceremonies. Under the guidance of the ROTC instructors, the cadets practiced proper formation, bearing, and basic commands developing their discipline, coordination, and responsiveness to commands.

‎At 0930H—1100H, the cadets proceeded to the gymnasium for a lecture on 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀, led by 𝐆𝐌𝐀/𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐌𝐒𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐂. 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬). The lecture introduced the cadets to various drill commands, proper terminology, correct positions, and the appropriate hand placement and ex*****on when rendering a military salute.

‎The second training day provided the cadets with valuable hands-on experience and knowledge in military drills and ceremonies. Through consistent practice, proper instruction, and disciplined ex*****on of commands, the cadets continue to build the foundation of bearing, discipline, teamwork, and leadership essential to their ROTC journey.

‎On 16 August 2026 , the 𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗞𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀) 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 officially commenced its first training day of the semester. At 0700H, the cadets were formed and oriented on the fundamentals of ROTC, what they can expect throughout their training, and the proper bearing and discipline expected of them. An orientation was also conducted for cadets interested in pursuing the Advanced ROTC program.

‎At 0930H, the cadets proceeded to the gymnasium for an orientation on the proper completion of their required forms. After completing their forms, the cadets were assembled and organized according to their respective platoons. At 1130H, the cadets were dismissed.

‎The first training day served as an opportunity for the cadets to understand the importance of proper bearing, discipline, and responsibility values that will guide them throughout their ROTC journey and help develop them into future leaders.
