Mid- century modern is a popular design style from roughly the 1930s to the mid-1960s, characterized by clean lines, organic shapes, minimal ornamentation, and a blend of natural and man-made materials (wood, plastic, metal, glass) reflecting post-war optimism with a focus on functionality and simplicity.
Client Overview: Our client would like to maximize the use of the house’s existing structural elements and finishes. There will be no major renovations—only subtle enhancements achieved by integrating furniture that aligns with their preferred design style. We aim to add pops of color and varied textures, while ensuring the overall effect remains balanced and not overwhelming

Organic Modernism is an interior design and architectural style that merges minimalist, clean-lined modernism with warm, natural elements. It emphasizes sustainability, organic shapes, and a neutral, earthy color palette to create serene, comfortable, and high-value, light-filled spaces. It is a contemporary, nature-centric evolution of mid-century modern design.
𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄:
A family of four desires a minimalist home design featuring warm wood elements and subtle pops of color for personality. Working with a long, narrow floor plan, the main goal is to create a layout that feels light, airy, and visually spacious. The design will prioritize clean lines, seamless flow, and smart space planning, while balancing functionality and durability suitable for family living.

Phew, it's been an absolute whirlwind here at Essi Visuals since the end of January! Time has truly flown by as we've been deep in the trenches, bringing your visions to life. We apologize for the radio silence, but rest assured, it's because we've been pouring all our energy into what we do best!

- Project A & B: Our creative engines are in full throttle with these! Both are currently in the exciting design development phase, where ideas are taking beautiful shape.

- Projects D, E, & F: The future is looking bright and busy! These fantastic projects are already booked and lined up for the upcoming months, and we can't wait to dive in.

The Life of an Interior Designer
