‎𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 || 7TH 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐀𝐘

‎On September 27 , 2026. The 7th training day of NSTP-ROTC MS-2 at PHINMA Union College Sta. Cruz, Laguna was highlighted by the conduct of the P2 Examination and the Map Reading lecture. The cadet officers and aspirants arrived and participated actively under the supervision of authorized training personnel.

‎The day began with the administration of the P2 Examination, facilitated by C/CPT Joann C Guillermo 1CL, which assessed the cadets’ comprehension and retention of the prescribed lessons and training topics. Following this, the cadets attended a lecture on Map Reading, conducted by Sgt Kenneth A Condino PA (Res). The session provided fundamental knowledge on map symbols, scales, directions, grid references, and proper map interpretation.

‎The activity aimed to enhance the cadets’ ability to determine locations, directions, and distances using appropriate map reading techniques, while also promoting discipline, accuracy, and confidence in applying these principles during training.

‎The training day concluded successfully, with both the examination and lecture reinforcing the cadets’ learning and preparedness for succeeding ROTC activities.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 || 5TH & 6TH 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐀𝐘

‎On September 20 , 2026. The 5th and 6th training days of NSTP-ROTC MS-2 at PHINMA Union College Sta. Cruz, Laguna began with the arrival of the advance cadet officers together with the aspirant cadet officers. The day opened with a Reveille exercise led by the designated advance cadet officers, followed by a rank inspection for both advance and aspiring cadet officers. Afterward, the Corps of Cadet and Cadet Officers organized the formation of basic cadets in preparation for the day’s activities.

‎The program continued with a lecture on Military Leadership, delivered by MSgt Augusto C Matito PA (Res) and 1CL Cadet Officers of PUCL ROTC Unit. This was followed by a lecture on Military Justice, discussed by MSgt Augusto C Matito PA (Res), Sgt Mark Joseph Añonuevo PA (Res), and 1CL Cadet Officers. A lecture on Basic Intelligence was then conducted by the same instructors, with full participation from the basic cadets.

‎In the afternoon, cadets engaged in Drills and Ceremonies, spearheaded by the designated cadet officers and actively participated in by the MS-1 students.

‎Toward the end of the training, attendance was checked and additional instructions were given to the students. The 5th and 6th training days concluded successfully with no untoward incidents reported.

This was followed by a lecture on Military Courtesy and Discipline, discussed by Sgt Erick Rebutazo PA (Res), and a lecture on Military Leadership, conducted by Sgt Jose Reuel G De Lumban PA (Res). All sessions were actively participated in by the cadet officers and basic cadets.
