π—‘π—˜π—ͺ𝗦┃ PRMSU SC Leads Student Services Orientation

President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU) Sta. Cruz Campus conducts Student Services Orientation Program for first-year college students, transferees, returnees, with their parents/guardians for the First Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027.

The program formally opens with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by the PRMSU Hymn and an invocation. Dir. Noel B. Merin delivers the opening remarks, while University President Dr. Roy N. Villalobos welcomes the participants and emphasizes the university's advocacy, stating, "Education is not all about earning a degree. It is about transforming lives, creating opportunities, and making a positive difference in society," encouraging students to embrace the opportunities and responsibilities of university life.

The orientation features an inspirational message from Ms. Monalyn A. Ebuengan, Head of the Guidance and Counseling Services of the North Campuses, who welcomes the Ramonians describing the orientation as the beginning of their academic journeyβ€”encouraging them to remain resilient. This is followed by the presentation of the university's Vision, Mission, and Quality Policy by Dr. John April N. Marpa.

Dir. Merin then introduces the campus key officials before various academic and student support offices present their programs and services. These include the Campus Registrar, Library, Collecting Services Office, Office of Student Affairs, Scholarship Services Office, Medical Services, Guidance and Counseling Services, Gender and Development Office, Student Publication, Student Organization, Research Services, and different colleges. This is to familiarize students with the resources and support available for them.

The program concludes with an open forum where students and parents raise their questions, followed by the closing remarks of Dr. Sanny Boy M. Mistica, Head of the Office of Student Affairs.
