Senator B**g Go leads March 2025 Pulso ng Pilipino survey for midterm Senate race with 57.6% voter preference

Senator Christopher “B**g” Go has once again surged to the forefront of the national consciousness as he topped the latest Pulso ng Pilipino survey conducted from March 22 to 29, reaffirming his position as a leading contender in the 2025 midterm senatorial race.

The survey, which polled 1,800 respondents nationwide, revealed that 57.6% of voters favored Senator Go, placing him firmly in the Rank 1–2 bracket. The results echo a persistent and growing support for the senator, widely known for his hands-on approach to public service and close engagement with Filipinos at the grassroots.

“Simpleng probinsyano lang po ako na gustong tumulong at maglingkod sa abot ng aking makakaya. Kaya tuloy lang tayo sa pagseserbisyo,” said Senator Go, whose trademark brand of service has earned him the moniker Mr. Malasakit in communities across the country.

Senator Go’s continued ascent in public opinion surveys underscores the deep trust many Filipinos place in his accessibility and responsiveness, especially in times of need.

“Muli po akong nagpapasalamat nang taos-puso sa ating mga kababayan sa patuloy na tiwala sa aking kakayahang paglingkuran ang bayan. Sipag, malasakit, at more serbisyo po ang maiaalay ko sa kapwa nating Pilipino,” he said earlier.

“Hindi ko po sasayangin ang inyong tiwala at wala po akong sasayanging oras. Asahan po ninyo na mangunguna din sa aking puso't isipan ang pagbibigay ng serbisyong tunay na may malasakit,” he added.

As Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Health, he has been actively involved in pushing for measures that expand healthcare access and bring services closer to the people through initiatives like Malasakit Centers, Super Health Centers, and Regional Specialty Centers.

“Patuloy kong isusulong ang mga pro-poor na mga batas at programa para ilapit ang serbisyong medikal sa ating mga kababayan lalong-lalo na sa mga mahihirap na pasyente,” he reiterated.

“Kahit na malungkot tayo ngayon dahil sa nangyayari sa ating Tatay Digong, palagi kong tinatandaan ang payo niya sa akin: “Just do what is right. Unahin ang interes ng bayan. Unahin ang kapakanan ng mga Pilipino lalo na ang mga mahihirap, at hinding hindi ka magkakamali”

The Pulso ng Pilipino results build on a consistent pattern observed in other recent national surveys. In the Pahayag 2025 First Quarter survey conducted by Publicus Asia Inc. from March 15 to 20, Senator Go also emerged as the top senatorial candidate, garnering 45% in the aided preference category. He led even in the unaided segment—where respondents were not shown any list—scoring 17% of spontaneous mentions, signaling a strong recall and an organic base of support.

Senator Go likewise topped the March 2025 Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey commissioned by Stratbase, registering a voter preference rating of 42%. This continued his steady rise over the past few months, having previously scored 38% in February, 37% in January, and 32% in December 2024. The upward trend reflects what analysts describe as a solidifying nationwide trust in Senator Go’s leadership, built on years of consistent ground presence and tangible assistance programs.

His lead in the Pulse Asia February 20–26 survey further cements this momentum. Senator Go garnered 58.1%, a significant jump from the 50.4% he recorded in January, where he then ranked second to third. His climb to the top reflects a widening voter base that spans urban centers and rural communities alike.

“Patuloy kaming magseserbisyo sa inyo dahil bisyo ko ang magserbisyo at ako ay naniniwala na ang serbisyo sa tao ay serbisyo ‘yan sa Panginoon, serbisyo ‘yan kay Allah,” underscored Senator Go, who is known as Mr. Malasakit for his compassionate service to Filipinos in need.

Senator Ronald Bato Dela Rosa is appealing to the supporters of former President Rody Duterte to grant his wish and vote straight for PDP-Laban senatorial candidates.

Lahat po tayo ay nangangarap. Sana po ay ‘yung kanyang panawagan ay pakinggan ng ating mga kababayan para naman po maraming PDP Laban ang makapasok.

Vice President Inday Sara Duterte said his father wants the supporters to stop discussing the legal aspects of his International Criminal Court case and if they want to show their support, they should vote for the PDP-Laban candidates and guest candidates in the May 12 polls.

Sinabi niya, hindi na niya magawa ang mangampanya, tumayo sa stage doon sa Pilipinas…kaya sabi niya, ipaabot sa inyo na kailangan niya ang tulong. Kailangan niya ang mga PDP Senators at mga guest candidates ng PDP-Laban,” the vice president said.

Last March 20, the vice president also personally asked the public to vote for the nine senatorial candidates endorsed by the PDP-Laban, saying they will change the face of the government.

The PDP-Laban senatorial line-up includes Dela Rosa, Senator B**g Go, Atty. Jimmy Bondoc, Atty. Jayvee Hinlo, Atty. Raul Lambino, Philip Salvador, Rep. Dante Marcoleta, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, and Atty. Vic Rodriguez.
