Calculating success is one thing, but witnessing it is another. We are thrilled to celebrate our BSED Mathematics graduates who proved that when preparation meets opportunity, the results are nothing short of extraordinary.
We extend our warmest congratulations to our new Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs) for their outstanding performance in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers. With 40 out of 41 examinees successfully passing, we have achieved a phenomenal 98% passing rate. This achievement serves as a testament to your hard work and the rigorous preparation you underwent to reach this milestone.
As you transition into the noble profession of teaching, we are confident that you will inspire your future students and contribute significantly to the field of mathematics education. Congratulations on this well-deserved success!

Congratulations to our new BSED-Mathematics LPTs!
With immense pride and joy, the entire BSEd Mathematics program proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of our graduates who have successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).
From Batch 2023, 3 out of 5 takers have passed, while Batch 2024 has achieved remarkable success with 4 out of 5 passers. Overall, 7 out of 10 takers from both batches have successfully cleared the examination—a true testament to their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence in education..
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all our passers. Your success not only honors your personal journey but also brings pride and inspiration to the entire BSED Mathematics family.

October 6, 2025 - In the commendation of the World Teacher’s Day, gifts, letters, and flowers were given to the teachers by BSED Mathematics students in recognition of their effort and service in ensuring the provision of quality education.
The role of teachers in the future is critical. They do not only become our teachers, but also our mentors and guides and even sometimes our greatest cheers. Their attempts to establish the success of learners must never go unrewarded.

The BSED Mathematics 4B of the College of Teacher Education successfully hosted the third special topic session on September 29, 2025, at Tiripunan Hall, University of Antique.
The session, titled "Constructive Alignment in Action: Unpacking Competencies for Effective Learning Design," provided attendees with valuable perspectives on the principles of curriculum development. The discussions centered on the critical process of aligning learning outcomes, activities, and assessments to foster meaningful and deep student learning.
The session featured Mary Ann Magbanua, Ph.D., as the resource speaker. Dr. Magbanua shared her extensive expertise, practical lessons, and professional advice directly applicable to future educators.
The organizers expressed their sincere gratitude for the active participation and the shared ideas that contributed significantly to the session's overall success.

October 1, 2025 – BSED-Mathematics engages in the 2025 Kick Off: National Cybersecurity Awareness Month hosted by the University of Antique under the theme "Cyber Guardians: Empowering Today’s Defenders, Securing Tomorrow’s Digital Nation," featuring a series of activities, including panel discussions and the launch of CYBERSINAG, a collaborative platform aimed at promoting cyber resilience and digital responsibility.
Dr. Pablo S. Crespo, President of the University of Antique, welcomed the participants and stressed the importance of cybersecurity in the university. Engr. Regional Director of DICT Region VI Reynaldo T. Sy also emphasized the importance of the issue of cybersecurity in our world of connections and urged people to work together to ensure improved behavior of the online environment and the real world.
Hon. Antonio Agapatio AA Legarda Jr. also sent a note of support with an emphasis that cybersecurity is an instrument of empowerment and nation-building. He likewise declared the implementation of 150 Starlink Free Wifi installations across different areas around the province, which was supported by Senator Loren Legarda.
James Laurence Lucarda proposed CYBERSINAG and outlined that its stages will execute information drives, capacity-building programs, and proactive engagement to protect citizens against cyber threats.
Juancho F. Samile (HRMO III) addressed the NPC Seal of Registration and Republic Act No. 10173, which is the Data Privacy Act of 2012. He then listed to the audience that when protecting personal data, we make a promise and commit to confidentiality.
With strong support from local leaders, government agencies, and educational institutions, this event marks a significant step towards building a cyber-resilient community and securing a safer digital future for the nation.
