Before I discovered the right tool, managing multiple clients felt like juggling with one hand tied.

I was doing my best, I had the task listed and organized based on importance and urgency, as well as having them blocked in my to-do list, but I knew there had to be a smarter way.

Then came Trello, and with its automation.

✅Recurring tasks set themselves.
✅Checklists tick off as progress moves.
✅Reminders pop up before anything slips through the cracks.

What used to take hours of manual tracking now happens in the background seamlessly.

That means fewer delays, less micromanaging, and more time spent on what truly matters: growing my client's business.

I started with nothing but determination and a goal.

No fancy tools.
No aesthetic workstation.
Not even a stable internet connection.

What I had was a vision: to support myself through meaningful online work so I could continue my studies and help my siblings.

How did I make it work?

With the help of a generous friend, I used their ticketing office as my workspace. They allowed me to use their desktop and fiber internet for nearly 3 months. In exchange, I made sure the office was clean and ready before business hours.

Back then, my daily routine looked like this:
🎓 Student from 7 AM to 5 PM
💻 Virtual Assistant from 5 PM to 7 PM, then again from 9 PM to 4 AM
That’s how deeply I committed to remote work.

Two years later, I earned my degree through freelancing and I was able to support my sister through college, too.
