The Alocasia Lauterbachiana is a also known as Elephant Ear lauterbachiana. It displays multiple upright stems which give way to green upright crinkle-cut leaves with deep red veins and undersides.

My upright, spear-like scallop-edged leaves with dark red undersides are my defining feature. This striking variety from the Alocasia Family is a great way of adding structure to your plant collection.

They like rich, well-draining soil. This Alocasia will appreciate a space with indirect bright sunlight. Like most tropical plants, this Elephant Ear will thrive in humid areas. If your home air is a little dry, a humidifier helps. If that’s not possible, place it on a tray with pebbles and water, misting it often also helps.

At first glance you may think this is your average Alocasia Amazonica, but this little plant is actually Alocasia Amazonica 'Bambino', a cultivar of Alocasia amazonica! Being a cultivar means that Alocasia Bambino was developed in cultivation by selective breeding and is not naturally occurring. Alocasia Bambino is a dwarf variety of the already relatively small Alocasia Amazonica. This little plant wont get much larger than a 12" tall, so if you love the lush look of giant Alocasia but live in a small apartment this is the perfect plant for you. Alocasia can oftentimes be intimidating plants to keep, but we think they're so beautiful they're worth the challenge!

Alocasia Bambino needs bright, indirect light. It may grow in medium indirect light but you will need to be mindful of how often your plant is watered.

Water your Alocasia Bambino when about half to 3/4ths of the soil has gone dry. Like all Alocasia, Alocasia Bambinobrequires added humidity to thrive. Because of its small size Alocasia Bambino is the ideal plant for keeping in a closed environment like a cloche or terrarium. You can also keep humidity high by placing it near a humidifier or keeping it in a well lit bathroom.

Alocasia are known for being prone to spider mites. Spider mites thrive in dry conditions, so keeping your Alocasia Bambino somewhere with high humidity is not only good for your plant but also helps to keep spider mites at bay! If your Alocasia Bambino does ever come down with spider mites we recommend using neem oil or an insect spray to treat your plant.

Philodendron prince of orange have an amazing glossy bright orange leaf. However, this leaves will slowly transform in to a deep green as they mature. Hence prince of orange will be displaying multiple shades of salmon, orange and finally maturing to a medium light green.

Philodendron prince of orange can Grow around 18 inches tall. Apart from that this philodendron is a shade loving because of that philodendron prince of orange commonly kept as a houseplant

When growing philodendron plants, allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. The length of your index finger to the first knuckle is about an inch, so inserting your finger into the soil is a good way to check the moisture level. Droopy leaves can mean that the plant is getting too much or not enough water. But the leaves recover quickly when you correct the watering schedule.

Set the Philodendron in a location with bright, indirect sunlight. Find a position near a window where the sun’s rays never actually touch the foliage. While it’s normal for older leaves to yellow, if this happens to several leaves at the same time, the plant may be getting too much light. On the other hand, if the stems are long and leggy with several inches between leaves, the plant probably isn’t getting enough light.
