The sign of Jonah: A case for Thursday crucifixion, and Saturday resurrection.
The "Sign of Jonah," a profound and enigmatic reference from the New Testament, has intrigued theologians, scholars, and believers for centuries. Mentioned in the Gospels of
Matthew and Luke, this symbolic narrative links the story of the prophet Jonah to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In this comprehensive and meticulously researched work, the author delves deep into early Christian history to uncover the hidden truths and teachings surrounding Jonah’s sign.
Church Fathers from the first four centuries provide rich interpretations that reveal its deeper theological significance, which is crucial for understanding the redemptive message of the Gospel.
TRUE DAY OF CRUCIFIXION AND RESURRECTION.

CHRIST TRUE DURATION OF JONAS' PROPHECY.
A significant and mysterious allusion from the New Testament, the sign of Jonah, has captured the thoughts of academics, believers, and theologians for ages. cited in Matthew's Gospels and Luke, this symbolic story revolves around the prophet Jonah's tale and how it relates to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Early on in the history of Christianity, church Fathers investigated the meaning of Jonah's sign, revealing its more profound theological connotations, and its significance in comprehending the gospel's redeeming message. In this thorough analysis, we set out on an exploration of the works of the most important Church Fathers from the first four centuries, looking for their ideas, views, and contemplations around the Jonah sign.
We offer you the backdrop, as well as an unprecedented and superior pairing of the dates of the crucifixion and resurrection
Prior to being detailed for you. The Bible has this thorough analysis, but because of the heresy that has creptfollowing the apostle's passing, conflicting theories and false traditions obscured the actual teachingsthat influence the early Christian faith. This is the reality of the true Lord's Day. The final analysis is Thursday
crucifixion, and Sabbath resurrection.

A LEADER WITH VISION.
A godly visionary is not merely someone who dreams about the future, but one who sees through the lens of God’s truth, guided by His Word and Spirit. In the Bible, vision is closely connected to spiritual awareness, discernment, and obedience. Proverbs 29:18 declares, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” This shows that vision is not human imagination alone—it is rooted in God’s guidance and His commandments.
A godly visionary possesses spiritual sight. This means being sensitive to what is happening not only physically but spiritually. Like the sons of Issachar in 1 Chronicles 12:32, who “had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do,” a true leader discerns the season and responds according to God’s will. Vision without righteousness leads to destruction, but vision anchored in God produces direction, hope, and stability.
One key characteristic of a godly visionary is watchfulness. Jesus emphasized this repeatedly. In Matthew 24:42, He warned, “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” Again in Mark 13:33, He said, “Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.” These words are not just about waiting for His return—they are instructions for daily living. A visionary leader must be alert, aware, and prayerful. He must observe the signs of the times—moral decay, deception, global unrest—and align his leadership with God’s truth.
The danger today is the rise of leaders who lack keen observation and spiritual awareness. Many are driven by popularity, emotion, or personal ambition rather than truth. They fail to see the deeper issues affecting the world—spiritual blindness, moral compromise, and the erosion of God’s law. Hosea 4:6 warns, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” When leaders lack discernment, the people suffer.
A leader without vision becomes reactive instead of proactive. Instead of guiding people through truth, he follows trends and public opinion. This is dangerous, especially in a time when misinformation spreads quickly and deception becomes normalized. Jesus warned in Matthew 24:4, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” A godly visionary protects people from deception by staying grounded in Scripture and maintaining a watchful spirit.
Another important trait is discernment. Hebrews 5:14 says mature believers have their senses exercised “to discern both good and evil.” A visionary leader must distinguish truth from error, righteousness from compromise. Without this, leadership becomes blind. As Jesus said in Matthew 15:14, “If the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” This is the tragic result of leadership without spiritual vision.
A godly visionary also demonstrates humility and dependence on God. He does not rely on his own understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Vision comes from God, and it must be continually renewed through prayer, study, and obedience.
In contrast, leaders who ignore what is happening around the globe—whether in morality, faith, or human behavior—become disconnected from reality. They fail to prepare people for challenges and instead offer empty reassurance. Ezekiel 33:6 gives a strong warning: “But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet… his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.” Leaders are watchmen. If they fail to warn, they are accountable.
Jesus’ command to “watch” is deeply connected to responsibility. Luke 21:36 says, “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy… to stand before the Son of man.” Watching is not passive—it involves prayer, awareness, and action. A godly visionary prepares people spiritually, strengthens their faith, and points them back to God’s commandments.
In today’s fast-changing world, a godly visionary is essential. He sees beyond headlines and recognizes the spiritual battle behind global events. He does not panic, but he does not ignore reality either. Instead, he stands firm, guided by truth, and leads others with wisdom and courage.
Ultimately, a godly visionary reflects Christ’s example—alert, compassionate, truthful, and obedient to God. He understands that leadership is not about control but stewardship. And above all, he remains watchful, knowing that the times demand clarity, faithfulness, and unwavering trust in God.

DEATH AND RESURRECTION,
Where did the belief in the “immortality of the soul” come from?
Is it from Christianity or from paganism?
Why did Jesus (the true founder of Christianity) say:
“No man has ascended up to heaven…” (John 3:13)?
What about Noah, Abraham, and all the righteous… where are they now?
According to Scripture, death has not yet been completely abolished. In 1 Corinthians 15, it is declared that death is the “last enemy” that will be destroyed. This means that people continue to die, and death cannot be stopped until Christ returns. At His coming, the resurrection will take place and the complete victory over death will finally be fulfilled.

True Love of God versus Hypocrisy!
Love and Charity: Keeping God’s Commandments First.
True love and charity, according to the Bible, begin with obedience to God. Love is not merely an emotion or outward action; it is first a commitment to keep God’s commandments. As written in **Gospel of John 14:15**, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” This verse shows that genuine love for God is proven through obedience. Before we claim to love others, we must ensure that our lives are aligned with His will.
The greatest commandment is declared in **Gospel of Matthew 22:37–39**: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind… And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” Love for neighbor must never conflict with love for God. Charity that disobeys God’s commandments is not true charity. If an act appears kind but violates God’s law, it cannot be pleasing to Him.
The Bible teaches that charity must be sincere and pure. In **First Corinthians 13:1–3**, the Apostle Paul explains that even great sacrifices mean nothing without charity. Yet this same chapter describes charity as rejoicing “in the truth” (1 Corinthians 13:6). True love does not support wickedness; it stands with righteousness. Therefore, before practicing charity, a believer must forsake sin.
God calls His people to turn away from evil. **Book of Isaiah 1:16–17** commands, “Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings… cease to do evil; Learn to do well.” Charity begins with repentance. A life continuing in wickedness while performing outward acts of kindness is hypocrisy. God sees the heart, not just the actions.
Hypocrisy is strongly condemned in Scripture. In **Gospel of Matthew 6:1**, Jesus warns, “Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them.” Charity must not be done for praise or recognition. God examines motives. Likewise, **First Samuel 16:7** reminds us, “for the Lord seeth not as man seeth… the Lord looketh on the heart.” When love and charity are practiced only for appearance, they lose their spiritual value.
Furthermore, obedience and love are inseparable. **First John 5:3** declares, “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” True charity flows naturally from a heart that first loves and obeys God. When we forsake wickedness and walk in righteousness, our acts of kindness become acceptable offerings before Him.
In conclusion, biblical love and charity begin with wholehearted obedience to God. We must keep His commandments first, avoid any action that contradicts His will, forsake wickedness, and reject hypocrisy. When our love is rooted in truth and righteousness, God sees and approves our deeds. Only then does our charity reflect the pure love that Scripture teaches.
