With the continuous increase in fuel costs nowadays, we would like to share a few simple tips that may help you save on fuel consumption during your rental period. Small adjustments in driving habits can make a big difference in overall fuel efficiency.

Please take a moment to read the guidelines below:

✅ Use your air conditioning wisely
Avoid setting the thermostat to the coldest level immediately. Instead, adjust gradually.
- During very hot weather, you may start at around half to three-fourths cooling, then adjust the blower speed until you reach a comfortable temperature inside the vehicle.
- At night or during cooler or shaded conditions, try using the lowest cooling setting and blower speed first, then slowly increase only if needed.

Proper use of the air conditioning system helps reduce unnecessary fuel consumption.

✅ Park in shaded areas whenever possible
Parking under a shade helps keep the vehicle cooler, allowing the engine and air conditioning system to work more efficiently when starting the vehicle.

✅ Practice smooth and gentle acceleration
Avoid sudden or aggressive acceleration. A light and steady pressure on the gas pedal helps maximize fuel efficiency.

All our units are set to Eco Mode, which is designed to be fuel-efficient. However, fuel savings still largely depend on driving habits.
- When driving on highways or smooth-flowing roads, if you see the “ECO” indicator illuminated on the dashboard, it means you are driving efficiently.
- If the indicator disappears, it may suggest that the vehicle is consuming more fuel due to heavier acceleration.

Whenever possible, maintain a steady speed and avoid unnecessary speeding.

✅ Be mindful when waiting or idling
If you are waiting for someone for a short period (around 5 to 10 minutes, for example when a companion quickly buys something from a convenience store), it is generally okay to keep the engine running briefly. Frequently turning the engine on and off within a very short time may use additional fuel and place extra strain on the starter.

However, if you expect to wait more than 10 minutes, it is advisable to turn off the engine to conserve fuel and reduce unnecessary engine use.

In light of increasing fuel costs, we are waiving the carwash fee for all unit returns to help lessen our clients’ expenses. This will be implemented until further notice.

We kindly ask for everyone’s cooperation in maintaining the cleanliness of our units as much as possible. Should a unit be returned in excessively dirty or unacceptable condition, corresponding cleaning charges will still apply.
