🤰 Pregnancy – Month 1 (Weeks 1–4): What’s happening?

- Fertilization occurs and the embryo forms.
- The tiny embryo implants into the uterus.
- The placenta begins to develop.
- Your baby is about the size of a poppy seed by the end of month one.

✨ Common symptoms:

- Missed period
- Mild cramping or light spotting (impIantation bIeeding)
- Br.east tenderness
- Fatigue
- Nausea may begin
- Frequent ur1nation
- Enhanced sense of smell
- Excitement

Important tips:

- Start taking folic acid (if not already).
- Avoid aIcohol, sm0king, and harmful medications.
- Eat balanced meals and stay hydrated.

Month one is mostly happening quietly inside your body — you may not “feel” very pregnant yet, but big changes have already begun! 💛
