Today, we commemorate Intersex Awareness Day, a significant occasion that honors and uplifts intersex individuals whose biological traits may not conform to conventional definitions of male or female. 💛💜

This day serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of visibility, understanding, and respect for intersex people. It calls upon us to recognize that human diversity extends far beyond what is often seen or spoken about; it lives within our bodies, our identities, and our shared humanity.

We are deeply saddened to share some heartbreaking news with our community. Our fellow student, Charline Butuhan from BSP 2A, is currently going through a very difficult time. Her older sibling has recently passed away unexpectedly, and their family is now in urgent need of financial support for medical expenses and the upcoming funeral.

On the evening of October 11, 2025, SRC Saints that are members of the LGBTQ+ community, allies, Organization, and advocates came together at SRC Pride Lane to mark the 11th death anniversary of Jennifer Laude, a trans Filipina woman whose life was brutally taken in 2014.

The solemn candle-lighting ceremony served not only as a tribute to Jennifer's memory but also as a renewed call for justice, dignity, and equal rights for trans Filipinos. The event highlighted the ongoing struggle against transphobia, gender-based violence, and foreign military presence in the Philippines.

Participants lit candles, shared messages of solidarity, and remembered Jennifer not just as a victim, but as a symbol of courage, resilience, and the fight for liberation.

Kaming hanay ng mga mag-aaral ng Bulacan State University ay hinihimok ang administrasyon ng pamantasan na tumindig kasama ang taumbayan sa korapsyon. Sa ganitong panahon, malaki at importante ang papel ng isang pang-akademikong institusyon sa pagtindig—kung saan ang pamantasan ay nakikiisa sa laban ng mga Iskolar ng Bayan.

Sa kasalukuyan na patuloy tayong ninakawan ng mga politikong ganid sa kapangyarihan at kayamanan at mga mandarambong sa kaban ng bayan at kalikasan, isa dapat ang pambansang pamantasan sa nangunguna sa pagsupo ng korapsyon na nangyayari sa Lalawigan at Bayan. Ang ating lalawigan ang siyang may pinakamalaking pondo kontra baha ngunit ito rin ang may pinakamalaking pagnanakaw sa kaban ng bayan. Kailangan namin ng pamantasan na tumindig kasama namin.

Hindi nakukulong sa bawat sulok ng mga kampus at kolehiyo, maging sa pagturo sa mga klasrum ang papel ng unibersidad sa mga mag-aaral nito. Hindi tagapagbitbit ng neutrality ang mga pamantasan, dapat itong humuhubog sa pagtindig ng mga kawani, g**o, at mga iskolar ng bayan. Lubog na ang bayan natin sa pagnanakaw, panahon na upang iparinig at ipakita niyo ang inyong tindig.

Nanawagan kaming mga lider-estudyante mula sa mga Pinakamataas na Konseho, mga Lokal na Konseho ng mga Kampus at Kolehiyo, mga Organisasyon, at BulSUans na ang lakas ay hindi nananaig sa katahimikan bagkus sa pagtindig at paggawa ng tama. Bilang mga Iskolar ng Bayan na hinubog ng pamantasan na laging ipaglaban ang tama, kinakailangan naman na kami’y mapakinggan, at gawin ang inyong trabahong makiisa sa tamang bersyon ng kasaysayan at masilbing mabuting halintulad sa bawat isang BulSUan!

Ang paglaban ay hindi radikal.
