LDVTS recently hosted a Special Talk organized by East West Seed Technologies for students enrolled in the STEM curriculum, focusing on the theme 'Filipinas in Science: Inspiring the Next Generation.' This insightful event aimed to highlight the incredible contributions of Filipina scientists and researchers in various fields of science and technology. Through this discussion, we hope to inspire young minds to pursue careers in STEM, especially encouraging more young women to step into these fields.

The talk was expertly led by Ms. Richellen Plaza of East West Seed Technologies, who shared her knowledge, experiences, and passion for science with the students. The event not only provided a platform for learning but also emphasized the importance of representation and diversity in the scientific community.

We are thrilled to announce that this event marks the beginning of a promising partnership between our school and East West Seeds. This collaboration will open doors for more exciting activities, events, and opportunities for our students in the future, fostering a stronger connection between education and industry. We look forward to future endeavors that will empower our students, especially young women, to reach their full potential in the world of science."
