It blows my mind how some people think it’s no big deal to just hand a whole grape to a toddler. Grapes are one of the top choking hazards for kids, yet we act like it’s some big parenting win to let them figure it out on their own.

Cut the grapes! It’s not hard, and it could save a life.“they’re old enough”? Kids are still learning how to chew properly, and their airways are way smaller than ours.

It’s common sense—cut the grapes, save the stress, and don’t be that parent who ends up wishing they had.
