Febrero and Mr. Jose Marie F. De Guzman, Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit of the BASC Gender and Development (GAD) Office.

Headed by Atty. Leorae D. Valmonte, the regional office remains committed to protecting and promoting the rights of all individuals, particularly marginalized and vulnerable sectors in Central Luzon.

Education serves as the core principle of development communication, thriving when state universities and non-government organizations collaborate to drive social change.

Six BS Development Communication (DevComm) interns from the Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) were warmly welcomed by the Philippine Association of Communication Educators (PACE) President, Mr. Reginald H. Gonzales, on June 9, 2026.

Through opportunities like this, PACE continues to advance its mission, fulfilling its mandate to pursue excellence in communication education and ethical practice in the field. This partnership further solidifies the commitment between PACE and BASC, which was officially sealed five months ago through a ceremonial Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing.

To kick off their journey, the interns, alongside their internship coordinators, Ms. Lenneth C. Febrero and Mr. Allain John Miguel I. Manabat, were treated to a tour of Manila Central University, the current affiliation of the PACE President.
