According to UNICEF and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), About 1.3 billion kids, or two-thirds of school-age children worldwide, don't have internet at home, thus limiting their educational and social opportunities. The lack of internet access is not only isolating them but also stopping their ability to have more knowledge.

This is our challenge.
This is our reality.

This is the new normal. Let's concur and support the evolution for our internet access. Let's support ICT projects for social change.

Having access to the internet, paves the way in building the prosperity.

It is no longer new to us to hear about the trials that the adversity of the global climate change brings to mankind. However, our ignorance will at times be shaken by these fiction-like, catastrophic events.

Like how a whole country is going to sink and disappear.

Tuvalu has long been at risk of submerging, but now, that risk has been realized. It has been predicted by scholars and professionals that an estimated sea level rise of 20-40 centimeters would make the island completely uninhabitable.

This would mean the loss of everything: the Tuvaluans—their culture, their identity, their life.

However, due to the proposal to integrate the nation with the global cutting-edge technology—effectively synthesizing a digital copy of the island—there may be a chance that this great loss will not happen.

There is hope that the digital realm has provided.

The idea to preserve culture, to save identity with the help of the internet is nothong short of amazing. It goes to show how beneficial technology can be once utilized appropriately, free from ill intent and filled with idealistic purposes.

However, this also begs a very morally ambiguous question. One thay has been asked billions of times. One that could either save or erase our race.

How far will technology go in becoming our life?

“Bursting Through the Barricade”

Our team is honored to have participated in the recently held ICT Summit held at SM Pampanga by the Local Government Unit of City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

With various technology and IT companies coming together, alongside the many students who seek wisdom in the field of data and algorithms as well as those who have proven their selves as experts of the ever-changing chasm, the ICT Summit was truly a culmination of great importance—especially for the new generation who has developed alongside the technology we have fostered.

The said event has had several guest speakers, all from government agencies or renowned tech companies, who have divulged insider information and shared advice for the up-and-coming companies, organizations, and aspiring individuals.

With all the learnings taken away from the summit, the DoeMain team has truly expanded our database that builds up our company and supports our mission as heralds of technology as an agent of sustainability.
