𝐑𝐨𝐱𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐳 — JCI Roxas Sinadya officially sealed its partnership with Silong sang Roxas, a shelter dedicated to rescuing and caring for stray animals in the city.

On June 10, 2026, JCI Roxas Sinadya turned over 33 sacks of dry dog food, along with shampoo and ointment, for the shelter’s adopted stray animals. This donation represents 100% of the proceeds raised from the first run of the project, ensuring that every peso contributed directly benefited the animals under Silong sang Roxas’ care.

On behalf of JCI Roxas Sinadya, the Project Chairperson, and the entire Brgy. PAWsitivity Team, we extend our sincere gratitude to all our sponsors, partners, supporters, and everyone who purchased shirts to help raise funds for the feeding and welfare of Roxas City's stray animals. Your generosity has made a meaningful difference in the lives of these animals and has strengthened our collective commitment to animal welfare.

As we prepare for our second run, we continue to welcome individuals and organizations who wish to donate, partner with us, or volunteer their time and resources. Together, we can create a safer, healthier, and more compassionate community for our stray animals.

Silong sang Roxas and JCI Roxas Sinadya have joined forces to collaboratively advocate for the protection and welfare of animals, fostering a unified voice in Capiz that will drive significant change in better enforcement of animal rights. This shared commitment was formalized through a memorandum of agreement at the Silong Sanctuary in Brgy. Cogon, Roxas City.

To jumpstart the collaboration, JCI Roxas Sinadya x Silong rolled out Barangay PAWsitivity, a stray feeding program targeting the coastal area stray communities with nutritional meals powered by TMDC Capiz 💪🏼

We thank JCI Roxas Sinadya under the leadership of Lester Parreñas Vega for the trust and confidence. We work very hard on our operational sustainability and effectiveness to advance our mission, moving beyond just good intentions to measurable impact.

This partnership was perfect timing as we celebrate Philippine Independence Day 🇵🇭 Our work is dedicated to liberating animals from oppression every single day:

Join us as we bring legal education closer to the community through ALALAYI, an advocacy initiative focused on understanding rights, promoting safe spaces, and strengthening access to justice. Together, we will discuss key laws and legal protections, including the Safe Spaces Act, Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act, and other important legal remedies available to every Filipino.
