According to DOST-PAGASA due to the impact of Tropical Storm Ramil in Montalban, all face-to-face classes at all levels, public and private, will be temporarily suspended tomorrow, October 20, 2025 Monday.
Under these conditions, Kasiglahan Village Senior High School classes will be switched back to alternative distance learning modalities to ensure the continuous education for students.

JUST IN | SU***DE PREVENTION PROGRAM
Several journalists from The Cocoon publication and members of the Peer Nurture Circle (PNC) of Kasiglahan Village Senior High School participated in the Quarterly Su***de Prevention Program Activities for Teens titled "Ganda Mo, Galing Mo: A Self-Love and Mental Health Empowerment Day" organized by the Municipality of Montalban on October 10, 2025, at Municipal Gymnasium, Balite, Rodriguez, Rizal.
This seminar aims to promote self-love, personal empowerment, and mental health among youth, as well as to educate students about su***de and how to prevent it.
The program also includes free haircut and free confidential HIV testing for students.
Aside from this, a celebrity makeup artist, Mark Kingson Qua, was also invited to the program to teach attendees how to properly do makeup, in line with the seminar's purpose of promoting self-confidence.

LOOK | HUMSS and STEM Launch the Heartful Project for the Children with disabilities on Saturday, October 4, 2025
HUMSS and STEM grade 12 students completed their Heartful Project with success. Twenty four (24) children with disabilities from different areas of Kasiglahan Village attended the program.
The program featured different activities such as interactive games and performance, face painting and balloon making activity, and a magic show with the clowns.
The program was also to give knowledge about the experiences of differently abled people, with speakers like Ma'am Ophalyn Mortera, Alteria Gintu, and Ma'am Lilly Tancuan, shared their insights, experience, and knowledge.
The project was led by Project Coordinator Mr. Juvenal Sambrano, along with the head of the PWD department, Ma'am Lilly J. Tancuan from Area 2 of San Jose, Rodriguez Rizal, and the Students organizer, led by Ms. Chrisley Balambao from HUMSS strand, and Mr. John Kyle Medianesta from STEM strand.
Through initiatives like Project Heartful, the students of HUMSS and STEM continue to represent compassion, generosity, and the true spirit of giving.

LOOK | ABM and ALS Launch the Heartful Project for the Children on Friday, October 3, 2025
ABM and ALS grade 12 students completed their Heartful Project with success. Twenty-five (25) Asian Student Christian Foundation, Inc. students attended the program.
The project's goal was to spread happiness and knowledge among kids between the ages of 4 and 6.
Simple gifts like toys and school supplies were also given to the recipients by the ABM and ALS students, brightening the day and bringing joy.
The program featured games, performances, and interactive learning activities that created a meaningful and memorable experience for everyone involved.
The project was led by Project Coordinator Mr. Juvenal Sambrano, along with ABM Teacher-in-Charge Mr. Eugene S. Dantes and Mr. Christian S. Casiรฑo.
Through initiatives like Project Heartful, the students of ABM and ALS continue to represent compassion, generosity, and the true spirit of giving.

NEWS | Effective Parenting Seminar on Gender Sensitive and Exclusive Education 2025
The Municipal Education and Development Office of Montalban conducts โEffective Parenting Seminar on Gender Sensitive and Inclusive Educationโ on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Kasiglahan Village Senior High School.
The seminar was attended by 159 students and parents, together with the School Parent Teachers Association (SPTA) Officers.
The seminar had five sessions:
โMental Health Awarenessโ of Mr. Kenneth M. Salazar
โSpiritual Values with Parentsโ by Ptr. Joel Peconia
โPaglikha ng Suportadong Kapaligiran sa Pagkatuto sa Tahananโ of Mrs. Eleonor Rodas and Mr.
โEpektibong Komunikasyon sa Pagitan ng Anak at Magulangโ by Mrs. Lourdes Uraba; and
โPartisipasyon ng Magulang sa Pagpapalakas ng Pag-aaral ng mga Anakโ of Ms. Jellian Francisco
Overall, these sessions emphasized how family could affect in studentsโ well-being. It also included topics that can help parents in efficient parenting.
