: A Facebook reel using AI-generated videos and clips taken from a video game advertisement has gone viral online after falsely portraying a supposed United States missile strike on Iran amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano, in a press conference on June 8, appeared to suggest that Malacañang was behind the latest leadership shakeup in the Senate as part of an effort to shield top government officials from scrutiny.

“You have the Senate of the Philippines and you have the Senate of Malacañang,” Cayetano said. “So the Senate of Malacañang had a hearing kanina, and you have two Blue Ribbon committees.”
