Awesome Red Scarlet !

RED SCARLET RELEASES DEBUT EP "BLOOD CURSE"

Red Scarlet officially released their debut EP, Blood Curse, on May 10, 2026, across major digital streaming platforms

The four-track release introduces listeners to the band's blend of emo, post-hardcore, and metalcore influences while highlighting themes of heartbreak, personal struggles, toxic relationships, and resilience.

Leading the EP is the single "Where Are You," accompanied by an official music video released on the same day. The song serves as a reimagined version of a track originally released by vocalist Erock, then known as Red Santiago, in 2023. Written by Erock with lyrics co-written by Inah Munoz, the song reflects on second chances, regret, and the difficult reality that not every plea for forgiveness can be answered.

The EP also features "Blame Me, Hate Me," a song written by Inah Munoz that explores emotional numbness and the challenges of coping with pain and change. "Hands Of Love," co-written by Erock and Munoz, tackles the destructive effects of unhealthy affection and emotional abuse, while "I Won't Stay Here," written entirely by Munoz, tells the story of betrayal and finding the strength to walk away from a toxic relationship.

Red Scarlet marks a new chapter for Erock, who gained attention in 2023 following discussions surrounding his self-coined genre "EROCK." After years of rebuilding and developing his musical direction, he formed the current lineup consisting of Al Mendoza Domingo (lead guitar), Elman Amolo (bass guitar), and Jayson Sarmiento (drums).

According to the band, their goal is to continue creating music that connects with fans of early 2000s alternative rock while expanding their reach through live performances and future releases.

UPCOMING SHOWS:
Red Scarlet is scheduled for several upcoming events in 2026:

June 20 – Matchbox Yard, Commonwealth Extension, Quezon City
