BRODER INITIATIVE EXPANDS WITH ANOTHER BATCH OF PDLs AT BAYUGAN CITY JAIL
Another batch of the Basic Rehabilitation for Detainees Enticing Recovery (BRODER) Initiative is currently underway at the Bayugan City Jail, with sessions held every Monday from 2:00โ4:00 PM.
Facilitated by the Substance Use Recovery and Enlightenment (SURE) Program, the initiative engages persons deprived of liberty (PDLs), particularly those with cases related to RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), in a structured and supportive environment that promotes recovery. Each session integrates psychoeducation and support group meetings, enabling participants to build a deeper understanding of substance use while openly sharing their experiences and learning from one another.
Through meaningful conversations and guided sessions, participants were encouraged to reflect on their experiences, recognize their strengths, and take ownership of their recovery. The activity highlights that even within confinement, growth, healing, and hope remain possible.

ENHANCING ACCESS TO RECOVERY SUPPORT: CONDUCT OF MOBILE FAMILY SESSION AT STA. JOSEFA, AGUSAN DEL SUR
On March 28, 2026, a mobile family session was conducted for CODA families at Poblacion, Sta. Josefa, Agusan del Sur. The activity aimed to reach clients and their families from far-flung municipalities by delivering family psychoeducation and support group sessions within their locality.
