Physical bullying refers to the use of force to subdue a target and exert control over them. The victim doesn't want the physical intervention, which could harm their body or their things. One out of every five (20.2%) students report being bullied. (National Center for Educational Statistics, 2019 ). The majority of people who are physically bullied have been subjected to various forms of violence, including hitting, kicking, shoving, pushing, pinching, and other bodily harm. Those with impairments are the ones who frequently suffer in this kind of bullying. According to a research, children with disabilities were more concerned about school safety and the risk of getting hurt or subjected to peer harassment than classmates without disabilities (Saylor & Leach, 2009).

Academic performance suffers as a result of physical bullying. According to a CDC study, 12.9% of youth who missed school due to safety concerns were afraid of bullying. Everyone can be affected by physical bullying, including those who are bullied, those who bully, and those who witness bullying. Bullying has been related to a variety of undesirable outcomes, including poor effects on mental health, substance use, and su***de. Individuals who are physically bullied can have harmful physical, social, emotional, academic, and mental health consequences. Bullied children are more likely to suffer from despair and anxiety, as well as health problems and lower academic achievement as a result of their lack of confidence.
In our society, bullying should not take place anywhere, and individuals who tease others should be aware when their behavior is becoming out of control.
