The 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 is a cherished Lenten devotion that invites the faithful to walk spiritually alongside Christ in His final hours—from His condemnation to His crucifixion and burial. Each station serves as a moment of pause, reflection, and prayer, reminding us not only of Christ’s immense suffering but also of His boundless love and sacrifice for humanity.

Through this meaningful observance, the SRC community is reminded that the journey of Christ is also the journey of every 𝐒𝐑𝐂𝐢𝐚𝐧—a path marked by sacrifice, but ultimately leading to hope, redemption, and new life.

The ceremony opened with a dignified processional, welcoming our Academic and Non-Academic Support Personnel, faculty, administrators, and honored guests. The presence of our school leaders—𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐨 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐬 𝐋. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐬, 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞-𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐫. 𝐁𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐝𝐚 𝐆. 𝐀𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐨, 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞-𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐬. The Opening Prayer was led by 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚 𝐉𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐃. 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬 (𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟔 – 𝐒𝐭. 𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐚). A heartfelt message from our Principal, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐂. 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨, reminded everyone that this milestone reflects not only achievement, but also love, sacrifice, and shared journeys.

A delightful speech was delivered by the bubbly 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐞𝐢𝐞 𝐏. 𝐁𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐠 (𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐒𝐊 – 𝐒𝐭. 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞), while 𝐋𝐢𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐐. 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐬 (𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟔 – 𝐒𝐭. Santa Rita College of Pampanga, Inc. continues to take meaningful steps toward promoting sustainability, healthy living, and community engagement through its vegetable gardening initiative. More than simply producing fresh vegetables for the academic community, this effort serves as a living classroom that deepens our understanding of the importance of nutrition, environmental stewardship, and self-sufficiency.

Through the dedication and hard work of the NSTP students under the guidance of Ms. Marivi Carlos, this initiative has flourished into a collaborative effort that brings together different members of the Santa Rita College community. With the invaluable support of the Elementary GPTA, the maintenance and security department most especially Jun and Wowie, as well as the active participation of both elementary and high school students, the vegetable garden has become a symbol of unity, responsibility, and shared purpose. This strongly reminds us that even small seeds, when cared for with commitment and cooperation, can grow into something that nourishes many.

More importantly, this initiative encourages our stakeholders—students, parents, teachers, and community members—to bring the practice of vegetable gardening into their own homes. By planting even a few vegetables in our backyards or small spaces, we contribute to healthier families, greener surroundings, and a more sustainable future.

On March 04, 2026, the 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 conducted a meaningful 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 at SRC, reinforcing the importance of safety and preparedness in the school community.

The activity began with a short but informative talk at the 𝐑𝐆𝐂 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐞, where firefighters shared essential knowledge on fire prevention and emergency response. This was followed by a 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬, allowing students and teachers to gain hands-on experience in handling these important safety tools.

Participants were also given the opportunity to 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐮𝐬𝐞 the fire extinguishers, making the activity both engaging and educational. The demonstration continued with the 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞, which was later tried by 𝐈𝐇𝐒 & 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨, highlighting leadership and active participation in the safety program.

We extend our 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 for their dedication and commitment to educating the community about fire safety and prevention. Your efforts help equip our learners and educators with valuable knowledge that can save lives.

To our dear Mayor of Santa Rita, 𝓡𝓮𝔂𝓷𝓪𝓷 𝓢. 𝓒𝓪𝓵𝓸, we extend our heartfelt thanks for this meaningful initiative. By unifying all public and private schools in the Santa Rita District through a common P.E. uniform, you have done more than provide attire—you have made a powerful statement of solidarity and shared purpose.

This gesture is deeply symbolic. It reflects a noble aspiration to dissolve the lines of competition between public and private institutions and to foster instead a spirit of unity and collaboration. In truth, we are not separate sectors working against one another. We are 𝐨𝐧𝐞 community working together for the same mission.

At the heart of education, there are no divisions. We do not serve sectors or social classes—we serve learners. We do not form categories—we shape individuals. Regardless of background or circumstance, every child deserves the same opportunities, the same encouragement, and the same hope for a brighter future.
