Antipolo Fire Sub Station, Pontevedra personnel headed by SFO4 Sheryl F Zapanta, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal conducted "BOMBERO SA PAARALAN" Fire Safety Education to a total of 35 Pre School puplis (18 pupils from Diamond Section under the advisory of Ma'am Mary June M. Paguntalan) and (17 pupils from Jade Section under the advisory of Ma'am Dolly M. Talam) of Antipolo Elementary School, Brgy. Antipolo, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental. Dated 24 February 2026.

The story of Fire Dogs, Playtime with CoCo, is incorporated to encourage active participation of pupils throughout the discussion making fire safety education more collaborative and interesting.

This activity aims to promote fire safety awareness to pupils through interactive and engaging learning experiences, reinforcing the importance of preparedness and prevention at an early age.

Pontevedra/Antipolo Firesubstation personnel headed by SFO4 Sheryl F Zapanta, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal conducted House to House Survey, Rekorida, Fire Safety Lecture and distribution of Fire Safety Flyers to each Households at Sitio CabCab, Brgy Antipolo, Pontevedra Negros Occidental, in line with OPLAN LIGTAS NA PAMAYANAN dated 11 January 2026.

The purpose of this activity is to increase public awareness about fire hazards within their houses, to impart knowledge on how to evacuate or exit the house in times of fire and lastly encourage everyone to take proactive efforts to reduce the risk of fire occurrence in the community.

Survey such as these would expose possible causes of fires,illegal or dangerous electrical connection, decomposing materials, and other concerns, thus preventing fire by correcting failures.
