𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐔𝐌 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐬 𝐌𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐀 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐅 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

TALATANUM, an loT-powered soil analysis and fertilizer recommendation system developed by Senior High School students of EMA EMITS College Philippines, swept major awards at the MIMAROPA Science Technology Fair, held from November 26 to 28, 2025, at Red Hotel, Cubao, Quezon City-its victory symbolizing how innovation can rise from the very earth it seeks to transform. Created by Chezkah Mae Mariño, Shane Laje M. Gipulan, and Patricia Liane O. Legaspi, the project dominated the Robotics and Intelligent Machines Team category, earning 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭, 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬, reflecting both youthful ingenuity and the enduring challenges of local farming. Guided by mentors Mr. John Mark M. Galang and Mr. John Pedrick E. Hilot, the team's regional triumph now propels them to the 2026 National Science and Technology Fair, where their work will stand among the country's most promising scientific breakthroughs.
