After a successful Training the Trainers Seminar and Workshop Phase 2 – North Luzon Leg held in Baguio City, preparations are now underway for the upcoming legs of the program.

PHILSPADA and PPC Secretary General Goody Custodio, together with the coaches and Secretariat, held a coordination meeting on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, in Pasig City to discuss plans and ensure the successful conduct of the remaining training sessions.

The National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) invited PPC and PHILSPADA President Michael Barredo to the 48th National Disability Rights Week Celebration – Legislative Town Hall Meeting, held yesterday, July 20, at the Bayview Park Hotel in Pasay City.

During the forum, Barredo discussed the organizational alignment of the NCDA vis-Γ -vis the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).

He also emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration among government agencies, organizations, and stakeholders to advance the rights, inclusion, and empowerment of persons with disabilities.
