As I close this remarkable chapter at the National Development Fund, I find myself reflecting on the last seven years with a deep sense of gratitude and admiration - especially for the exceptional leadership of NDF Chairman HRH Mohammed bin Salman, alongside Vice Chairman HE Mohammad Al-Tuwaijri and the entire NDF Board of Directors. I also very much welcome the appointment of HE Abdulaziz Al-Arifi as NDF’s new Governor.

These years have been more than a profound professional journey - they’ve been a rare opportunity to help shape an institution now at the heart of Saudi Arabia’s development landscape. Above all, it’s the extraordinary people of NDF who made every milestone possible. Their focus, resolve, and imagination turned ambition into lasting progress - from launching new funds to broadening the depth and scale of our impact across every sector.

I will miss many things about Saudi Arabia, but none more than the incredible team whose spirit brought NDF’s vision to life. Vision 2030 is stronger because of their work, and NDF’s legacy endures through their commitment.

Thank you, my colleagues and friends, for an unforgettable journey. I leave immensely proud - and even more excited to watch your continued success in shaping the future of sustainable development finance.
