In 2025, Uratex Group of Companies reported a total of 12,381 tons of carbon-equivalent emissions. This figure represents a 11% decrease compared to the emissions recorded in 2024.

Building on this momentum, the group is intensifying its decarbonization strategies, setting a mid-term target of a 72% reduction in emissions by 2030. These efforts are part of a broader, long-term commitment of reaching complete carbon neutrality by 2050.

RGC Fabrics, a business unit of Uratex Group of Companies, leads sustainable textile innovation with its Rehibla fabric line. These fabrics use high-quality yarns derived from recycled PET bottles.

The process transforms discarded plastic bottles—through sanitation, melting, and spinning—into durable yarns. This provides a second life to plastic waste that would otherwise accumulate in landfills.

In a stride towards sustainable waste management, Uratex Group of Companies, a leading foam and mattress manufacturer, successfully diverted 23,220 kilograms of its excess fabric waste from landfills in 2025, reducing a total of 14,442.84 kilograms of carbon emissions.
This is through a partnership with GUUN, a Cebu-based company specializing in waste-to-energy solutions. The diverted excess fabrics were converted to fluff fuel, an alternative energy source.
This collaboration highlights the group’s commitment to environmental stewardship and its proactive approach to reducing its ecological footprint.

As part of its 2026 sustainability objectives, Uratex Group of Companies is committed to achieving an 85% renewable energy share within its total power mix.

As of October 2025, the group's power mix consists of 55.53% renewable energy, which is primarily sourced through solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, Green Energy Option Program (GEOP), and Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA).

The group commenced the conversion of its facilities in 2017, with the Muntinlupa facility being the first to undergo this transition.

This achievement underscores the group's dedication to fostering sustainable and environmentally responsible operations.

Uratex/RGCGroup of Companies’ continual incorporation of recycled materials into its products shows the group’s commitment to protecting the environment.

RGC Fabrics, one of the group’s business units, uses yarns made of recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles in its Rehibla fabric.
