On December 9, 2024, Golden Z Club members attended the 5th PLP Leadership Training, titled "𝑆ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑂𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝐵𝑒 𝐸𝑓𝑓𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝐿𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑠," at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig Banquet Hall. They gained valuable insights into decision-making and other essential leadership skills, equipping them to inspire and lead with confidence!

𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆? Like a river, its true power lies in how far it flows, nourishing and enabling others to carry forward the vision and mission while carving new pathways for the future.

The Golden Z Club proudly attended the inaugural 𝑆𝑡𝑢𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑂𝑟𝑔𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑧𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠' 𝑂𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig, organized by the 𝑆𝑡𝑢𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠' 𝑆𝑢𝑐𝑐𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑂𝑓𝑓𝑖𝑐𝑒 and held at the 𝑃𝐿𝑃 𝐹𝑢𝑛𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝐻𝑎𝑙𝑙. This event brought together student leaders from all organizations across the university.
During the orientation, the 𝘎𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘡 𝘊𝘭𝘶𝘣 officers had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the school's rules and regulations, engage in meaningful discussions with fellow student leaders, and strengthen their connection with various college representatives. The orientation not only provided essential insights into their responsibilities but also highlighted the importance of aligning their activities with the school’s policies and objectives.

Equipped with newfound knowledge and a reinforced sense of purpose, the Golden Z Club is now more ready than ever to inspire and empower students throughout the academic year, embracing both leadership growth and community impact.

- 65 years old and above (discretion of physician)
2. Weight - at least 110 lbs
3. Blood pressure:
- Systolic = between 90 to 160 mmHg
- Diastolic = between 60 to 100 mmHg
4. Hemoglobin - not less than 125 gm/mL

𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍:
1. Have enough rest and sleep.
2. Have a light meal.
3. Drink plenty of fluid.
4. No alcohol intake 24 hours before blood donation.

𝐌𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍:
1. Have your weight taken.
2. Register and honestly answer the questions on the registration form.
3. Your blood type and hemoglobin will be checked.
4. You will be examined by the doctor.
5. The actual blood donation.

𝐁𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐅𝐈𝐓𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍:
1. Regular blood donation helps in reducing stress and risk for heart attack.
2. Blood donation boosts and facilitates the production of new red blood cells.
3. It also burns calories and limits iron absorption.
4. It makes the donor psychologically rejuvenated.
5. You'll get a free checkup (Physical Assessment and CBC)
7. You'll be able to save someone's life.
