Feeling deeply honored, grateful, and humbled.

As I mark my 35th year as the Municipal Health Officer of Pandan, the Philippine Medical Association has awarded me the Dr. Jose P. Rizal Gold Medallion as a finalist under the Government Service Category during the 119th PMA Annual Convention in May 2026 at Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyong City.

I humbly offer this recognition to my family, the Catanduanes Medical Society, the Association of Municipal Health Officers of the Philippines, Inc., the Philippine Public Health Association, the Department of Health, the Provincial Health Office, LGU-Pandan, Pandan RHU, DOH Human Resources for Health, and to all Pandananons who have walked this journey with me.

Mas pinalakas ngayon ang pangangalaga sa mga buntis at bagong panganak!

👶 Mula sa dating 4 Antenatal Care (ANC) visits, ito ay ginawang 8 ANC visits na upang masigurong mas ligtas ang pagbubuntis.

📌 Bagong schedule ng 8 ANC (1-2-5):
✔ 1 visit sa First Trimester (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
✔ 2 visits sa Second Trimester
✔ 5 visits sa Third Trimester

🤱 Kasabay nito, pinalawak din ang Postnatal Care (PNC) mula 2 naging 4 visits:
✔ Contact 1: within 24 oras matapos manganak
✔ Contact 2: 3–5 araw pagkatapos manganak
✔ Contact 3: 7–14 araw
✔ Contact 4: 6 na linggo pagkatapos manganak

Ang unang check-up sa unang tatlong buwan ng pagbubuntis ay napakahalaga at hindi dapat palampasin, dahil dito natutukoy ang posibleng komplikasyon nang maaga.

Mas maraming check-up, mas ligtas na pagbubuntis at panganganak. 💛

RHU-Pandan joins our LGU and the entire nation as we commemorate the sacrifices of our veterans during the 84th celebration of the Day of Valor (Araw ng Kagitingan), especially the 30 fallen veterans of Pandan.

We also remember our colleagues and co-frontliners who have sacrificed their lives in line of service, duty and profession.. Let this day be a reminder to all of us to continue to show our love to our country and inspire us to be silent heroes to our fellowmen.
