On February 7, together with our brothers from Delta Chapter, Alpha Phi Omega – Eta Pi Chapter solemnly conducted the necrological rites for our beloved Brother Edgar Magparangalan Tria, Brod “Egay”.

With profound sorrow yet deep gratitude, we honored a paramount servant-leader whose dedication, brotherhood, and unwavering commitment to the Four-Fold Program of Service helped revive and strengthen Eta Pi Chapter.

Though he has laid down his earthly duties, his legacy remains ascertainable in every act of service we uphold.

Rest in eternal brotherhood, Brod Egay.

Alpha Phi Omega – Eta Pi Chapter mourns the passing of our beloved Brother, Bro. Edgar M. Tria, “Brod Egay”, Delta Chapter, Batch 1977-C, at 10:40 AM.

A leader of remarkable dedication, a loyal friend, and a true servant-leader who faithfully embodied the Four-Fold Program of Service, he played a paramount role in reviving and strengthening the Eta Pi Chapter in 2004.

Through his unwavering leadership, brotherhood, and commitment to service, his legacy continues to guide and inspire generations of brothers. You will never be forgotten, our beloved Brother, your Fleur-de-lis shall forever shine in eternal brotherhood.

On December 16, 1925, Frank Reed Horton founded Alpha Phi Omega, planting the seeds of Leadership, Friendship, and Service. Now, a century later, we proudly uphold those principles as we mark 100 years of brotherhood and sisterhood.

Here in the Eta Pi Chapter, we celebrated this historic milestone together with our brothers and sisters. The occasion was made even more memorable as the Founder of Eta Pi Chapter chose to spend this centennial celebration with us, honoring the past and inspiring the future.

This gathering was not just a celebration—it was a reaffirmation of our commitment to do our best for the fraternity, the students and faculty, the community, and the nation as fully participating citizens.

On December 16, 2025, the Alpha Phi Omega – Eta Pi Chapter welcomed a historic visitation from its founder, Father Vito B. Mocorro of Delta Phi Chapter, accompanied by Sis Siony Mocorro of Epsilon Mu Chapter and the First Grand Chancellor of Eta Pi Chapter, Bro. Fernando B. Llose.

They were warmly entertained by the current Grand Chancellor, Bro. Wilhelm Seth T. Villar, as the chapter reflected on its roots and honored the legacy of how Father Vito began the journey of Alpha Phi Omega at Palompon Institute of Technology.
