Jacksnipe Kennels purpose is training, handling and deploying detection dog or sniffer dogs using its senses (sense of smell) to detect substances such as entomologic-biological organisms/substances, medical disease (cancer; diabetes), among others. Substance detection for security purposes and further for the purpose of training, handling and deploying sport, game and search dogs for game or missing humans.

Gun dogs are used to hunt all sorts of game. Many are used in the pursuit of big game. The majority of working gun dogs are used to hunt upland game and waterfowl.
