The Municipal Government of Pagsanjan, through the Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC), actively participated in the Training on Monitoring and Evaluation and the Revised Regional Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (RPMES) conducted by the Provincial Planning and Development Office of Laguna.
The activity was attended by the LPMC Members and other key personnel, with the presence and support of Hon. Januario Ferry G. Garcia, reaffirming the Municipality’s commitment to transparent, efficient, and results-driven implementation of programs, projects, and activities.
This initiative aims to further enhance the capacity of local government personnel in ensuring effective project monitoring, evaluation, and delivery of quality public service for the people of Pagsanjan.

The Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) of Pagsanjan actively participated in the “UGNAYAN AT KUMUSTAHAN, Serbisyong may PUSONG PAGSANJAN para sa BARANGAY” held in Barangays Lambac and Anibong, bringing essential government services closer to the community. The activity aimed to provide convenient and accessible public service to residents through a barangay-based outreach program.
As part of the caravan, the MPDO offered frontline services related to the application and processing of Locational Clearance, Zoning Certification, and Development Permit. Through this initiative, the office was able to assist constituents by providing guidance on documentary requirements, application procedures, and compliance with local zoning ordinances.
The conduct of this event also helped strengthen the municipality’s commitment to efficient public service and community engagement by making government transactions more accessible to the people in the barangays.
The participation of the Municipal Planning and Development Office of Pagsanjan reflects the local government’s dedication to delivering responsive, people-centered, and inclusive services to every Pagsanjeño.

The Municipal Planning and Development Office successfully conducted the Drafting of the Exposure Database for the Climate and Disaster Risk Assessment (CDRA) Activity last May 19, 2026 at Pagsanjan New Government Building, with the active participation of all 16 barangays of Pagsanjan, Laguna.
Barangay officials and representatives were interviewed to gather vital information on affected populations and urban land use areas—including commercial, institutional, residential, agri-industrial, Utilities and other land use zones—to assess their exposure, sensitivity, and adaptive capacity to flood and landslide hazards present within their communities.
The activity serves as a significant step toward evidence-based planning, disaster preparedness, and building a safer, more climate-resilient Pagsanjan for everyone.

The Local Government Unit of Pagsanjan, Laguna officially entered into a Ceremonial Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) Region IV-A, marking a unified commitment to advance responsive and data-driven population programs.
The activity was graced by CPD IV-A Regional Director Ms. Marilyn Ogaya, together with Hon. Januario Ferry G. Garcia, Municipal Mayor, Hon. Rod H. Fernandez, Vice Mayor, and the distinguished Members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Pagsanjan.
This partnership highlights the implementation of the Registry of Barangay Inhabitants and Migrants (RBIM) — a vital tool in ensuring accurate, updated, and accessible population data at the grassroots level. Through this initiative, the LGU aims to strengthen planning, targeting, and delivery of essential services to every Pagsanjeños.
The collaboration also reinforces the continuous rollout of population and development programs that promote inclusive growth, responsible parenthood, and sustainable community development.

The Municipality of Pagsanjan successfully conducted the Climate Impact Chain Analysis (CICA) Workshop at Francisco Benitez Memorial School, bringing together key leaders and stakeholders in advancing climate-responsive planning.
The activity was graced by Hon. Januario Ferry G. Garcia, Municipal Mayor, and Hon. Nathanael Bernales, SB Chairman on Land Use and Housing, alongside Department Heads, LGU employees, and representatives from the 16 barangays—demonstrating a unified commitment to building a climate-resilient community.
The workshop was facilitated by our partner academe from UPLB, led by Project Leader Dr. Efraim Roxas, with the support of dedicated specialists and planning assistants. Their expertise guided participants in identifying climate stimuli effects, human activities, and adaptive programs and projects essential for sustainable local development.

The Municipality of Pagsanjan successfully conducted the Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC) meeting, highlighting the status reports of ongoing Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) of the LGU. This initiative reinforces our commitment to transparency, accountability, and efficient project implementation for the benefit of all Pagsanjenos.
Also discussed was the proposed conduct of a Refresher Course Training on the Results-Based Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (RPMES) to further enhance the capability of our personnel in monitoring and evaluating government projects.
Together, we move forward in ensuring that every project delivers meaningful and measurable impact for the people of Pagsanjan.
