UPCAT 2027 Important Dates

Applications for UPCAT 2027 will open soon. Current Grade 11 students expecting to start college in 2027 should take note of the following dates:

March 2026*: Application Period
- Applicant: Online Form 1
- Senior High School: Form 2A
July 2026*: Release of Digital Test Permits
August 1 and 2, 2026: UPCAT Exam Dates
August 2026*: Submission of Grades
- Applicant: Online Form 2B
- Senior High School: Form 2A
- School or Applicant: Hardcopy of Grades (Grades 8, 9, 10, and 11)

*Specific dates will be announced during the start of application.

Please make sure that you have your valid school ID or any government-issued ID on the day of the UPCAT.

𝑫𝒊𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘?
The iconic character Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer was first introduced in 1939 by 34-year-old advertising copywriter Robert L. May. He created the story as a Christmas promotional gimmick for the Montgomery Ward department store, headquartered in Chicago, IL. The retailer opted to create its own storybook rather than purchasing and distributing generic coloring books, which was intended as a cost-saving measure. The new story proved incredibly popular, with 2.4 million copies of May's tale distributed to shoppers in its first year, quickly establishing Rudolph as a beloved holiday character.

Rudolph's fame grew beyond the book when May's brother-in-law, songwriter Johnny Marks, adapted the story into a song. Marks' musical version of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" was later recorded by Gene Autry in 1949. Since its debut, Rudolph has evolved from a department store giveaway into an iconic holiday figure recognized by millions globally, featured prominently in books, music, and television specials for decades.
