๐‚๐๐†๐’๐‡๐’ ๐ก๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ ๐š๐œ๐š๐๐ž๐ฆ๐ข๐œ, ๐ž๐ฑ๐ญ๐ซ๐š-๐œ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š๐ซ ๐š๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ง '๐‘๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ'

Grade 11 and Grade 12 students of Carlos P. Garcia Senior High School (CPGSHS) were recognized during their Recognition Ceremony held on March 27 at the Barangay 22โ€“C Covered Court.

The ceremony marked a significant milestone for the students, highlighting their academic and extra-curricular achievements and personal growth throughout the school year.

โ€œProud parents and students will receive the fruit of their labor,โ€ Mr. Joberth Sabanal, school principal, emphasized, recognizing the role of families in the studentsโ€™ success.

He encouraged students to strive for academic excellence and aim for higher honors to qualify for such opportunities.

Moreover, he underscored essential values that students should develop, including determination, perseverance, and discipline. He reminded learners that their future โ€œultimately depends on their own efforts,โ€ with parents serving as their support system.

The awarding of medals and merits followed, recognizing outstanding students from the Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM), Arts and Design, Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS), Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), and Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) strands for their academic and extra-curricular achievements.

โ€œSuccess is truly tested in how you help others toward a progressive goal,โ€ Mr. Bernard Cempron, assistant to the school principal said, urging students to apply the skills and experiences they gained in senior high school to their future careers.

The ceremony ended with students carrying both recognition and responsibility as they move forward in their academic and career paths.

Department of Labor and Employment joined the One-Stop Shop job fair to give assistance to all first time job seekers from Carlos P. Garcia Senior High School, which happened at Sta. Ana Central Elementary School Gymnasium on March 25, 2026.
According to DOLE, they had a total of 100 registered applicants, 43 were successful in securing job offers.

The senior high school job hunters were selected through an interview, examining their communication skills and problem-solving skills for the position in the company of their choice.

With the partnership of CPGSHS, alongside several government agencies, industries, and corporations, the event was made possible.

Students gained a deeper understanding and knowledge in preparation for the life ahead.

"Today, we have gathered national agencies and the private sectors to open doors of job opportunities for our graduates. Additionally, this time we made it easier, accessible for them to acquire the requirements because everything is just under one roof," DepEd Region XI Regional Director Mr. Allan G. Farnazo stated.

Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) students of Carlos P. Garcia Senior High School took part in a one-day "One-Stop Shop for First-Time Job Seekers" held on March 25, 2026, at Sta. Ana Central Elementary School, granting free job requirements for direct work after graduation.

During the activity, the students were able to process various employment requirements, such as TIN registration, NBI clearance, police clearance, barangay clearance, and medical certificate.ational Bureau of Investigation (NBI), PhilHealth, Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BRI), Civil Service Commission (CSC), and Department Of Labor Employment (DOLE) to assist graduating students in completing important employment requirements and documents.

The event supports the implementation of the First Time Jobseekers Assistance Act, which allows applicants to process necessary documents free of charge.

During the activity, the students were able to process various employment requirements, such as TIN registration, NBI clearance, police clearance, baranggay clearance, and medical certificate.

Schools Division Superintendent Reynante A. Solitario, CESO V, emphasized that the One-Stop Shop event is more than just a fair, describing it as โ€œa movement toward progressive governance.โ€

โ€œIf one succeeds, we all succeed,โ€ he added.

Moreover, DepEd XI Regional Director IV Allan G. Farnazo highlighted the convenience of the event.

โ€œAll major requirements are in one place, students simply need to attend the event,โ€ he stated.

Clarissa Trumpeta, a Grade 12 General Academic Strand (GAS) student, said that the event made her โ€œnervous but excitedโ€.

She added that it allowed her to meet new people while making it easier to complete her requirements as a job applicant.

Meanwhile, John Cyrus Unduna, also a student participant, said that at first, he felt pressured but was satisfied with the process. He noted that the availability of the necessary services in one location helped him secure the important documents faster and more efficiently.

With the one-day setup of the event, the Student Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Club (SDRRMC), led by Sir George Salvador, ensured the smooth flow and overall organization of the event.

The One-Stop Shop Job Fair event underscores the importance of accessible government services in preparing students for their future careers and securing a smooth transition from school to the workforce.

Speakers from government agencies such as the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) shared practical guidance with senior high school job applicants to help them better prepare for employment opportunities.
