Paglalarawan ng Programa: Ang Barangay One-Stop e-Services Hub ay isang digital governance initiative na naglalayong gawing mabilis, transparent, at accessible ang mga transaksyon sa barangay sa pamamagitan ng online at automated systems. Layunin nitong maging sentralisado ang mga talaan ng residente, awtomatikong pagrequest at pagkuha ng mga dokumento, paggamit sa datos para sa pagtugon sa sakuna, pagbuo ng Digital Feedback Loop kung saan direktang makapagpapadala ng mungkahi o reklamo ang mga residente para sa mas mabilis na aksyon ng pamunuan at pag-innovate ng sistema ng Katarungang Pambarangay.

𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗘𝗥𝗖 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀

The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) has approved the connection of the Lihangin Wind Energy Corporation (LWEC) San Isidro Wind Power Project to the Visayas grid. strengthening power reliability and benefiting electric consumers of the region.

The 206-megawatt San Isidro Wind Power Project in the municipality of San Isidro is a joint venture of Aboitiz Renewables Inc., Vivant Energy Corp., and Singapore-based Vena Energy. Under the ERC approval, LWEC is authorized to build transmission facilities linking the wind farm to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) through the Calbayog substation as an interim connection and the San Isidro substation as the final connection. NGCP will operate and maintain these facilities to ensure efficiency and reliability.

The Provincial Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (PEDIPO) welcomes this development as it will enhance the province’s power stability and support the national renewable energy transition. It stands as a testament to the continuing efforts of PEDIPO and the Provincial Government of Northern Samar to promote renewable energy development and attract sustainable investments to the province.

The project is expected to lower generation costs over time, provide a more stable electricity supply for local consumers, and create new opportunities for employment and economic growth. It has secured all major permits from the Department of Energy and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and is set to begin commercial operations by February next year.

Once operational, the San Isidro Wind Power Project will contribute additional renewable capacity to the Visayas grid, further advancing Northern Samar’s position as an emerging hub for clean and sustainable energy in Eastern Visayas.
