This initiative aimed to equip learners, teachers, and school personnel with the necessary knowledge and skills to respond appropriately during emergencies, helping prevent panic, minimize risks, and ensure everyone's safety.

The San Miguel Elementary School family warmly welcomed the opening of School Year 2026–2027 on June 8, 2026, through a meaningful flag-raising ceremony led by our dedicated School Principal, Mr. Rio B. Gatera, Principal I.

With great enthusiasm and optimism, he extended his heartfelt welcome to all learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, parents/guardians, and stakeholders as we begin another year of learning, growth, and success.

May this new school year be filled with meaningful experiences, academic achievements, and stronger partnerships among our school community. Together, let us make SY 2026–2027 a fruitful and memorable journey for every learner.

Amidst the busy schedule of Brigada Eskwela and enrollment preparations for School Year 2026–2027, the San Miguel Elementary School family once again found time to come together and share a meaningful lunch fellowship.

From May 25–28, 2026, the San Miguel Elementary School teaching and non-teaching personnel proudly traveled to Agusan del Sur in full support to our young athletes competing in the Palarong Pambansa 2026. Our presence aimed to provide moral support, supervision, encouragement, and necessary assistance to our Elementary Taekwondo and Volleyball Girls athletes who represented our region in this prestigious national sporting event.

We are immensely proud of their dedication, perseverance, and commitment in carrying the banner of our region on the national stage. Win or lose, they have already made us proud through their hard work, discipline, and sportsmanship.

As part of this memorable journey, we also had the opportunity to visit the breathtaking tourist destinations of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, where we witnessed the beauty of nature and created meaningful memories together.

Congratulations to all our athletes, coaches, parents, and supporters! Thank you for bringing honor and inspiration to our school and community.

Isang taos-puso at taos-damdaming pasasalamat mula sa buong pamilya ng San Miguel Elementary School — teaching personnel, non-teaching personnel, at mga magulang — sa pangunguna ng aming masipag, madiskarte, at tunay na resourceful na School Principal na si Sir Rio B. Gatera, para sa ipinagkaloob at halos tapos nang GUARD HOUSE ng aming butihing Punong Barangay na si Hon. Ryan C. Januto kasama ang masisipag na konsehal ng Brgy. San Miguel.

Ang proyektong ito ay hindi lamang simpleng istruktura kundi simbolo ng pagkakaisa, malasakit, seguridad, at suporta para sa kapakanan ng aming paaralan at mga mag-aaral. Isa itong matagal nang pangarap na ngayon ay isa nang ganap na realidad.

Patunay lamang na kapag may malasakit at tunay na serbisyo, walang imposible. Tunay ngang “Ryan para sa Tanan!” ❤️❤️❤️
