Sa pagdiriwang ng ika-128 na Araw ng Kalayaan ng Pilipinas, buong puso nating ginugunita ang katapangan, pagmamahal, at walang sawang sakripisyo ng ating mga bayani na nag-alay ng kanilang buhay upang makamtan ang kalayaang tinatamasa natin ngayon. Ang kanilang mga ipinaglaban ay nagsisilbing paalala na ang tunay na pagmamahal sa bayan ay makikita sa pagkakaisa, paggalang, at malasakit sa kapwa.

Bilang mga kabataang Pilipino at kasapi ng Navotas Polytechnic College Student Council, nawa'y maging inspirasyon sa atin ang kanilang pamana upang ipagpatuloy ang pagtatanggol sa katotohanan, pagpapahalaga sa demokrasya, at paglilingkod nang may integridad. Sama-sama nating ipagmalaki ang ating pagiging Pilipino at patuloy na maging ilaw ng pag-asa para sa mas maunlad at mas makatarungang kinabukasan.

On June 1, 2026, the Navotas Polytechnic College Student Council participated in a vital Public Hearing led by City Councilor Hon. Client Geronimo. Alongside NPC's own Dr. Joel Chavez, the student leaders engaged in meaningful discussions with city lawmakers, including City Councilors Hon. Cesar Justine F. Santos, Hon. Lance Angelo E. Santiago, Hon. Arvie John S. Vicencio, and Hon. Reynaldo A. Monroy, as well as SK Federation President Hon. Jodile Cañete. This collaborative space allowed the council to represent the student body's voice directly to the local government, fostering a stronger connection between the youth and the city's policymakers.

​The engagement underscores the importance of active student participation in local governance and community building. By sitting down with our city officials, the NPC Student Council continues to bridge the gap between academic life and civic responsibility, ensuring that the student community remains a priority in Navotas City’s developmental plans.

​Leadership is defined by action and service. On May 29, 2026, the newly elected officers of the Navotas Polytechnic College Student Council eagerly gathered at the Tumana Multi-Purpose Building to participate in the Brigada Eskwela Kit Repacking.

​Headed by the Navotas Youth Development Office (YDO), this collaborative initiative brought our student leaders together to prepare essential school materials for local students. Through this experience, the council not only fostered teamwork and efficiency but also solidified their commitment to supporting the community for the upcoming school year.

​On June 8, 2026, the newly elected Officers of the Student Council, alongside various student organizations, clubs, and parties, officially stepped into their roles during a solemn Oath-Taking Ceremony at the Navotas City Hall. The inspiring event was graced by Navotas City Mayor John Rey Tiangco, Vice Mayor Tito Sanchez, and other city officials, who witnessed the leaders pledge their commitment to public service. This milestone marked the beginning of a collaborative journey between the student youth and the local government to foster positive change.

​As the official Student Council for Academic Year 2026–2027, the team is fully prepared to amplify student voices, champion impactful initiatives, and lead with integrity. Ready to face the challenges ahead, these leaders are dedicated to serving the student body with unwavering passion and unity. Navotas Polytechnic College proudly celebrates a historic milestone—officially granted Institutional Recognition (IR) by the Commission on Higher Education Office of Institutional Quality Assurance and Governance (CHED-OIQAG).

This Certificate of Institutional Recognition was awarded by the CHED OIQAG Director, Dr. Lora L. Yusi, Ms. Anunciacion T. Peñaflorida, and other representatives from CHED OIQAG.

The recognition was formally received by NPC President, Dr. Joel M. Chavez and Quality Assurance Head, Mr. Gerald D. Julom, who led the oversight and facilitation of all requirements for the Institutional Recognition (IR).
