There was a time when exams felt impossible, deadlines never seemed to end, and every semester tested not only your knowledge but also your patience, grit, and faith. Yet today, here you are, carrying years of hard work, sacrifices, and victories.

ECE was never easy. Not once did we hear anyone describe it as a piece of cake. It shaped individuals who learned how to keep moving forward despite pressure, setbacks, and uncertainty. And perhaps that is what makes this journey meaningful, because behind every person standing here today are countless hands that helped them keep going.

That is why this achievement belongs not only to you, but also to the families, friends, professors, and fellow ECEsteans who stood beside you throughout this journey. This is a milestone earned through countless sacrifices and a story that deserves to be celebrated.

The BISCAST College of Engineering brings together emerging engineers as they present their research, defend their ideas, and engage in meaningful academic discourse in the College of Engineering Student Research Colloquium 2026, with the theme: “Bridging Theory and Practice: Advancing Student Engineering Research for Real-World Solutions.”

The event will commence with a webinar session in the morning, followed by the presentation and defense of selected thesis studies in the afternoon. From Mechanical to Electronics, Electrical, and Civil Engineering, selected research groups will showcase their studies in a formal academic setting designed to strengthen technical communication, refine research methodologies, and promote interdisciplinary collaboration. This colloquium serves as a platform for intellectual exchange, constructive evaluation, and the advancement of student-led research.
