𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗧𝗬 𝗦𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗥 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗖 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 🔥

Last November 29, 2025, the School Youth Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Group successfully completed the Fire Safety Seminar and Basic Firefighting Training led by the Bureau of Fire Protection – Naga City Fire Station.

The instructors taught essential skills including fire safety awareness, hose throwing, proper use of fire extinguishers, and the bucket relay technique. Participants also experienced hands-on drills that strengthened teamwork, discipline, and readiness during fire emergencies.

Together, we continue to build a safer and more prepared school community.

𝙎𝙔𝘿𝙍𝙍𝙈𝙂 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝘼𝙞𝙙 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙣 2025

The School Youth Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Group (SYDRRMG) served as first-aid volunteers during the Peñafrancia Traslacion Procession 2025 in Naga City last September 12, 2025, in coordination with the Amateur Communication and Emergency Services Inc. (ACES) for radio communication support.

They assisted the students of Camarines Sur National High School in the Foot Procession from Peñafrancia Church to the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral. After that, the group put a first-aid station on the CSNHS grounds to give medical response to the patients from the devotees and also to apply their knowledge, show devotion, and demonstrate readiness in helping the community through service.

𝗦𝗬𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠𝗚 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦’ 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗚𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗦’ 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗟𝗬

Earlier today, the parents and guardians of SYDRRMG members gathered for a General Assembly at CSNHS Main Campus, Gabaldon Library Hall. The officers provided an overview of the organization and the roles their children take part in, both inside and outside the campus. The meeting also served as an avenue to seek consent and support from parents and guardians as SYDRRMG members continue fulfilling their duties and mission.

With their heartfelt cooperation and support, the members and the organization are inspired to grow and serve better in the future.

𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗔𝗬? 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗞!

On August 10, 2025, the members of the School Youth Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Group (SYDRRMG) continued their preparation with the Emergency First Aid (EFA) Training led by professional instructors. The morning session focused on the scope and importance of First Aid, various types of wounds, and basic knowledge about bandages.

In the afternoon, the trainees shifted to hands-on practice, performing bandaging techniques under professional supervision. This was followed by a real-life simulation drill, done to test their ability to respond effectively in emergency situations and apply their newly learned skills.

The day concluded with the awarding of certificates to the trainers in recognition of their efforts. This marked the end of the two-day training, preparing members with the skills and confidence to respond quickly and effectively during emergencies.

𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗘!✨️

Members of the School Youth Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Group (SYDRRMG) participated today, August 9, in a Basic Life Support Training as part of their 2-Day BLS and EFA Training conducted by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO).

The morning session covered lectures on Basic Life Support including CPR and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), while the afternoon focused on Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (FBAO). After the lectures, participants took a written test and performed a return demonstration on CPR and FBAO to practice and apply what they had learned.

The training aimed to prepare the members to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies, helping save lives in their community. The completion of the first day marked a significant step in equipping SYDRRMG members with vital emergency response skills.

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The SYDRRMG Membership Screening and Orientation was successfully held last July 12, 2025, at the CSNHS Student Pavilion.

Aspiring members underwent the screening and orientation process as part of their application to join SYDRRMG. This marked their first step toward becoming advocates of disaster preparedness, leadership, and service.

We now officially welcome our new members — the latest wave of passionate and dedicated youth leaders in the movement!

On June 20, 2025, at exactly 4:00 PM, the Senior High School students of CSNHS Liboton Campus actively participated in a structured earthquake drill as part of the school’s commitment to disaster risk reduction and management.

Spearheaded by the School Youth Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Group (SYDRRMG) under the supervision of Mr. Moises Alpha Cortez, the drill highlighted the importance of quick thinking, calm action, and teamwork in times of crisis.

From initial signal to final headcount, students showed discipline, readiness, and commitment to safety. 💯
